I decided I wanted to go to the farm shop (boredom more than need). Drove as far as the village shop and decided that was enough... Got out and managed to buy a few things... Milk is heavy... And my brain isn't working... So came home and did an online shop for the first time ever. I don't like the idea of not being able to select the stuff myself, but it's done now. Bet I've forgotten things!
Anyway, I have milk, broccoli and yogurt so am sorted for today... Oh... And the paper so hopefully it will keep me entertained for an hour or so.0 -
Can I ask, why so quiet on here, have I missed something?
I also see the 'My home is a mess' thread is extremely popular and busy...errr aren't we doing the same thing...or again, have I missed something?

Triker - I've found it tends to be quieter in the day at the weekends.
I'm just decluttering a box of papers from under my bed.

Lurking this week. I've pulled a muscle in my back and just about keeping the house ticking over with DDs help not that you'd think it looking at the clutter & hotspotsI'm going to take it very easy this weekend and rest it as much as possible, while decluttering films on the freeview box since we've run out of room and can't currently record Dr Who  We're aiming to do do the full list next week including extras to make up for it. The house only gets a proper cleaning during the school holidays ATM as I've fallen off the wagon for so long

I think there are a lot of sickies and a few on their jollies.. or maybe we all just gave up and decided to live in squalor
I have decided today I am trotting off to B&Q to select paint for the girly room.. I have 10% card which expires on the 31st so I hought I'd graab paint while I get money off and don't have to take children with me.. The girls want every wall a different colour which should make it interesting.. but probably easy to paint!
I have some more bits I want on ebay.. I have 6 listed on one account and 13 on the other and I need to get a few packaged up today They can't be posted while Tuesday though
I need to collect prescriptions from Boots and nip in the other chemist for some paracetamol/codeine for my back and hips.
I also want to get DD1 to shift the remaining crap of hers off the landing so I can get it vacuumed and it might look presentable again.
Squeaks clothes are to be moved to the pink drawers in the girls room.
DS3's and DS2's drawers WILL be sorted and stuff shifted to DS3's as he has next to nothing to wear!
I need to have a quick whizz through the front room too and hopefully get it presentable and suitable for a baby grotting about on the floor.. hello all :hello:
got a shift on this morning and up to speed with all S&S, then went into town for food, as the fridge was empty.
Got back to find DH in the drive, car keys in hand saying don't worry too much about the drips of water coming through the living room ceiling:eek: itseems that was the price I had to pay for a new immersion heater. But, we will have hot water on demand very soon for the first time in 6 months:j

Ok, who's pinched the sunshine? Was going to do some washing but don't trust it to dry in this.
Have washed up, S & S kitchen and done a large pile of shredding. Also read 3 chapters of my book!

Welcome back chunky and carol
Going to watch GP qualifying and sort some paperwork and then maybe allow myself to do some cross stitch.

I went for a nosey too and lots of them are saying it's quiet on there too.
I think that loads of regulars are posting less. Lots of us spend more time gardening than flying during this time of year and some of us have moved onto twitterI post less now as I rarely follow lists and just do what I can when I can. I'm sure it will pick up again or maybe it needs a shake up. Challenges again or something like we used to do.
Time for a cuppa and then either a bit of gardening or paperwork depending on how cold I find it when I put the washing back out.
