Might sound silly, but it only cost me a couple of pound to take a boyfriend's trousers to a proper tailor to be shortened. The poor dear was an inch too short for short fitting suit trousers and his arms an inch too short for the matching jacket. The job they did was fantastic - the alterations were completely invisible and meant he could attend his father's funeral not looking like an 11 year old on his first day of big school :)
We've had suit trousers altered to fit him; seems a bit of a faff for something like jeans though! (But I will bear it in mind if we can't get something for him soon);)

Maybe I should get a medieval rack and stretch his legs!:rotfl:

It's quite laughable in a way - I'm 8" shorter than him, but have longer legs than him!:rotfl:

Just read sad news about mummyslittleboy, she posted on here back end of last year :(

Done most of my list, the kitchen bits anyway, spent most of the day at OH's x
  • Oh, how sad. :(

Got the rings out and polished them up, but my computer decided to crash just as I was starting to list. Fortuitous in the end - by the time I got it back up and running again it was time for a webinar training session on a piece of software I have called Terapeak, which is a research tool for helping you get the best price for stuff on eBay. Now got a load of searches to run before I list to find out the best time and day for the auctions to end!

Edit: just seen the posts above about mummyslittleboy - how sad :(

It's very sad; mummyslittleboy always seemed a really nice person. Life can be so beastly unfair at times.:(

Valli - who was on the radio? Drinking on a work night (whistles innocently and has another slurp)
Maxonian - couple of people from work flew out to Hamburg this morning and they were fine, just emailed one of them so nothing major going on I think
    :wave:to everyone else

WM/DW on. cant go to bed till the TD stops and I can sort uniforms. At least Friday is hot dinners day and then we are all off next week :D.
