So far today I have - Walked hound. Decluttered some paid work. Made meal plan, written shopping list. Cleared kitchen worktops of gibble (other than 40 veg plants that need rehoming) Written toots list - work and home. Sat on a**e reading OS lists.

Not much really. DH back tomorrow so will need to run around like headless chicken to avoid a chewing out tomorrow.:p

Just had squeaky ball dropped in my lap. Guess hound wants another walk. Guess what. Its just started raining:eek:

I thought you had given him the heave - and didn't want him near you as you couldn't cope with his indecision?
glad he is working on the problems - and 'No' you dont have to be nice to him - you are nice to him because you want to be and because you care about him regardless?
Of course I'm nice to him because I love him, but he needs a bit of tlc right now so i'm trying to be senstive to the fact that he's under a lot of pressure and has out staying with me as a priority right now despite a lot of aggro about needing to do taxi duty at the last minute that would have him driving over a hundred miles and getting home well past midnight on a work night...

Mind you, he's being bossy and won't let me do what I want ... Apparently I can't remember what the consultant said when he came round. I'm not even allowed to pick up the watering can :o and my mother has just told me to do what he tells me.

I'm not very good at doing what I'm told
  • Well, I decided against the vacuuming in the end and spent around 5 hours gardening instead. :D

So now I have scarlet geraniums under the window, nasturtiums under another, various plants tied in, deadheaded or otherwise helped out, giant sunflowers planted in the tub by the front door, first ever crop of peas half eaten before they reached the freezer, aloes chucked in the gap by the blockpaving and the house, the bins relocated and the entire thing swept.

Then wandered off into the back garden and bodged a defence against the splats demolishing the sweetcorn, planted the cabbages out, cut a head of Mizuna - although what I am supposed to do with it is a bit of a mystery - and generally tidied up, tying spreading stuff back (the Mizuna - it must have been in a packet of cut and come again salad leaves, but it's huge and must have been 80% of the packet - and the potatoes) and chucking extra compost on stuff that looked a little sorry for itself in the near constant sunshine we've had all spring.

Also did WM x1, plus hanging out.

and nipping round the shop to get milk and something for dinner.

I really should put on another WM load and muck out the splats AGAIN. Lazy so and sos won't go round the back of the shed if they get to the veggie patch and won't use the veggie patch if they can use a litter tray.

But I can hear dinner calling to me.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
