Just dropped a tin of tomatoes on my newly cleaned floor!!

    grrrrr

    Hi

this is my first time on this thread. I NEED to be motivated to clean my place - time and teenagers against me!

I'll stick the list here now so I will have to get some work done before the day is out! Thanks for this, guys.

Already been to allotment for a couple of hours this afternoon. Now have some work to do to catch up with the time for my 'paid' job.

Must get on - catch up laters
    x
got me steam cleaner out for a change! I think the cleaning and decluttering surfaces is gonna take some time!
    onwards and upwards

This is my first week at being a 'flylady' Progress so far:

    cleaned & mopped kitchen floor
steamed (yes, the trusty ol' steamer came out)
Cleared about 60% of worktop clutter

    De floordrobed the bedroom
changed bed sheets and washed lined (in time for the rain!)

cleaned bath & sink and tidied up bathroom floor a bit

small steps as they say, should get easier as the weeks go by (I Hope!) and get more dome each time - bit of a mountain to climb right now.

I am also doing the 'feed your family for £25 a week' challenge - doing great!

Jobs still to do this week

    pot up seedlings in greenhouse
spend another 2-3 hours on dustbowl (sorry, allotment)
start getting 10-11 accounts together (2 hours?)
Tidy 'gets dumped here' corner of the dining room / study
    tidy garden

I think I will leave it at that for now - stacks more lined up.

Proud to be dealing with my debts!! :T

    yum!

DW emptied and filled, sink shined, and the table scrubbed. WM on for the second time. Mr S delivery put away.

    Is it bed time yet?

Hooray - Ds has got a merit in his college exam - he wanted a distinction but no-one got one this year (or last) so I guess he's happy!

Second Geography paper went well for DD2 - we have smiles at last! (Pity it was the 5th exam out of 7!)

However we have rationally discussed all the options and she is fine with them. She has General Studies tomorrow and then a break until 6th June and then she's done!

Well done DS. DS1 liked the Geography paper aswell - that was his last one so he has 3 weeks off now before the start of A2s

Hoovered and mopped all hard floors and hoovered the stairs and carpeted bedrooms.

Had a little trip to the local nursery to get a few plants. Collected DS3 from school.

Time for a cuppa and then a bit of gardening.

Afternoon everyone. Well it looks like Dh won't be home until gone 8pm tonight. He has only just left Reading :( So will end up on the last coach home :(

Was quite busy gutting the living room until I got a text from a neighbour seeing if I wanted a cuppa. So headed over to there and have only just got back. Shall get the washing in, finish off the living room and then do some ironing while watching Britains Best Dish later.

CY congrats on your ds getting a good result :)

    Hi guys

CY Glad DD is smiling and well done your DS :T

Anyone want an 18 yr old? He's driving me MAD! Got in from work at 4.30 to find littley not in from school and him and his bessie mate chomping on egg sarnies totally unbothered, I told him to be in for her coming in to look after till I got in, he said he was in at 3.30 thankfully she's fine and at her friends and she said he wasn't in. !!!!!!!

My ankle is playing up and totally hurting, I've had the headache from hell ALL DAY, had 2 pretty stressful house cleans, and I come back to that AND the house is a bombsite, bins not in, dishes everywhere, the floor needs to be pulled up and shaken outside it would be quicker.....and i still haven't heard back from the council *boiling pot*

    and breathe :D:D:D:D

So now, he's gone out Thank Gawd, and I'm left with all the housework - AGAIN! Infact **** it, I don't care anymore....gonna make ME some tea and read my book!
