    So, today's jobs for me:

    - sweep and mop kitchen floor
    - wipe down worksurfaces
    - declutter and tidy up the porch
    - flatten cardboard in dining room
    - declutter sideboard and dust it
    - hoover any visible floor in the dining room and porch (sorry, Junior Dog!)

Kitchen floor - yerrrrchhhhhh :eek: How does dog hair get into all those places???

One hour and eleven minutes today, but the porch needed a lot more work than I'd estimated - there was a box in there from when we moved here 3 years ago :o All it had in it was my cloak, three coat hangers, an empty overnight bag, a pair of socks and a bottle of car polish (!!), it took all of 10 minutes to deal with and yet we'd both been looking at it for the past three years going 'Must make time to deal with that box soon....' :rotfl:

Junior Dog is curled up on the sofa looking deeply disturbed at the hoover being out TWICE in one week. He was so nervous that he started shaking when I shut the door to keep them off the wet kitchen floor, because he knows that normally when the living room doors close it means the hoover's going on.

Oh, bless him!:o One of my recent guests, Ted, doesn't care for the hoover; and the little lass I've got this weekend, Lottie (new one for me, but the people who normally have her are away) is apparently scared of her own shadow and children. Good job the Wolf's Lair is a child-free zone! :rotfl:

Hooray - Ds has got a merit in his college exam - he wanted a distinction but no-one got one this year (or last) so I guess he's happy!

Second Geography paper went well for DD2 - we have smiles at last! (Pity it was the 5th exam out of 7!)

However we have rationally discussed all the options and she is fine with them. She has General Studies tomorrow and then a break until 6th June and then she's done!

Off to make a list for Morrisons tonight - I'll be going to slimming world so the list better be comprehensive...as I'm not there to supervise!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

CY Glad that DD2 is smiling and well done to your DS.

cazmanian_minx and LW Egon is also frightened of the hoover and heads of upstairs to get out of the way when he sees it coming out.

OH and I have been out for lunch at a local pub. The food is always lovley and it was really nice tp get out of the house for a while and it ensured that the kitchen stayed clean;)

Since coming home I have put 1 load of washing on the line and refilled the WM.

DD went on a study day to the local football club and has come back all excited because she touched a players shirt (insert rolly eyes smilie)

need to sort dinner out for DD and DS. Im not hungry and if OH wants something later he can have fish finger butties.
