Lovely and sunny here today but a fair bit of wind so had to rescue the washing a few times.

Decided to go into town this afternoon so didn't get much more done. Might try and do some later.

    Hugs and spoons to all.
  • Plan for today:

HHG - weed front garden - Weather too wild
Ironing (at least half an hour)
Check ebay, bidding on a wardrobe.
    [STRIKE]Hoover[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wash kitchen floor[/STRIKE]
    Make some cakes

DS poorly today, flu symptoms :(, feeling sorry for himself, so have been watching Top Gear repeats with him.

Just off for a HHI challenge, anyone care to join me?

Hi everyone. Thanks for the lists and support. Today I have emptied and filled the DW, and washed and changed a boys bed.

I got married on a Wednesday too - at Barnsdale Gardens (Geoff Hamilton/Gardeners World).

Gone yellow for AnWs Mum. Hope it wasn't too painful a day for you.

    Happy birthday HelenJelly

Wind not good here, OH had my car for work today and the wind took the door away from him earlier and there is now a crease in it :( going to take it later in the week to see how much it will cost to sort. OH is mortified, but as I keep telling him it couldn't be helped and it could have been far worse.

We live just by the Forth Road Bridge and the traffic is a nightmare by us as it has been shut. If this wind doesn't die down I will need to walk to work in the morning or I will never get there.

Done a couple of flying bits ready for the rest of the week but I will post them when the appropriate list is up.

AnW's sorry the weather is spoiling your plans. Can you spend some time with some photos instead?

He's up all over the house :D I am going to get our wedding pics out tomorrow to show the SW's again (they don't realise significance of the date) had no time this afternoon/evening to show them.
Thinking of you AnW'smum, hope you are reflecting on the good times:A

    - valli - I noticed you were doing a residential this week. From the bottom of my heart THANKYOU! Without people like yourself my children wouldn't have been away with their schools for the last five years and they have a ball.

    why thank you kindly...

my own kids have had some fabulous residentials

    DD has been to France
DS to activities like what I am doing - and went camping with school, and also numerous times with scouts

and this year, at Easter they both went to the US - and THAT was over school holidays so their teachers sacrificed some 'downtime' to take them

    how lovely to be appreciated!

embb - how sad. heartfelt sympathies

OH S&S's the kitchen and I then went and made fairy cakes and dinner and messed it up again :o. I S&S'd the bathroom and have made head way sorting out my wardrobe.
