    - Hoover the living room, hall and stairs (could be fun, one of our spaniels is terrified of the hoover, usually have to wait until OH is around to take the dogs out!)
    - remove dog covers from sofas, plump up sofa cushions, hoover out and replace.
    - declutter the coffee table and the side table next to my sofa
    - quick swish around with the duster

All done :D I'm trying to keep to no more than an hour a day, and that lot took me an hour and four minutes. I would have been faster if it hadn't been for the sofas which were a bit :eek::eek::eek::eek: They didn't look too bad until I realised that the loose covers under the cushions were tucked in down the side of the frame and when I pulled those out three years of sand, dirt, bits of food and dog hair came out along with them :o:o:o

Junior Dog is now traumatised and calling me all sorts of names, but has had a big cuddle and has just about stopped shaking, bless him.

Bought dinner for tonight. Managed to not buy the dinner service I have my eye on in M&S, but did buy new alarm clock.

Then braved the £land and bought a few bits in there - microfibre cloths and the like, handed in a pair of glasses that someone had taken off and forgot to put back on :eek at the counter, then spent loads on a couple of suitably Gothy T shirts for Minion's upcoming 12th birthday.

Then got caught at the market by the plant stalls - fatal, but I got 3 large red begonias - like the ones you get in France - for £3 as it was near the end of the day :) They are now sitting in a tray of water which idiot splat has decided is his new water receptacle.

Only had time to whisk around collecting gibble from the LR, as spent rest of time squishing blackfly on the nasturtiums, relocating ladybords onto the roses and trying to work put what to do with a veggie patch overflowing with Mizuna.

I hear it's good stir fried, but how/what with? And could I freeze some of it somehow?

Will tell minion to either do her room or vacuum downstairs today, I think.

We did this at the weekend so I am ahead! I also cleaned the bathroom today and the tiles behind the cooker. Bicarbonate of soda and OH's elbow grease worked a treat.

Does anyone know if you can clean the dishwasher with soda crystals and if so where do you put it. I can't afford to buy the brand cleaner this week.

    Thanks

Weirdo :p lol only joking, but out of interest, why?

Because it suited us;) At the time we both worked in pubs/clubs/restaurants and so did most of our friends so a weekend was no good for getting time off.

OK, in that half-hour burst of activity (stop laughing at the back), I've got as much done as I'm going to today.

Monday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
Vacuum floors and sofas Done by Mr LW:A
Wipe over sticky sofas.. see what you can scavenge from under cushions! Done – nowt between the cushions, probably because we have a throw over the sofa (easy to remove dog hair in between guests);)
    Level 2
Dusting, even if around everything Done
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe All clutter safely put away; also revamped the Receipts file, as I wasn't entirely satisfied with how I'd got it, and it was something I could do sitting on the floor with Candy:o
    Wipe bannister/handrails N/A:p
Clean mirrors and other glass things that are meant to be shiny! S*d it, I'll do this when I get the glass cleaner out to do the patio door (after Candy goes home):o
    Level 3
Wipe paintworks and any grubby marks off walls etc Done what I can get to
Clean any fluffy electricals and defluff behind the radiators! Done
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself Done by Mr LW:A

    Extras
    1. clear a hotspot or 3! N/A – we have no hotspots!:p
    2. Clean light shades/fittings and lamps.. and lightbulbs.. replace with energy saving ones if needed! Deferred til I can stretch up without my shoulders complaining quite so much:(
    3. Clean a window or two. Deferred til Candy goes home – she'll only re-do the nose art otherwise!;)
    4. Wash any smelly soft furnishings! All OK – done recently.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

i'm in again this week. having just returned from a weekend away, i feel itching to get on with things but am out most of the day tomorrow so will prob only manage level one for today and tomorrow but will do as much as i can the rest of the week. I have just returned with a load of tots bot nappies that I had lent to a family member who has returned them and while i know they have been washed, i am going to run them thru again as they were stored in her attic so thats my 'mission' this week. I still have ten weeks left but i would really like to be set to go by the end of next week as well as being on top of my flat (cleaning wise) so gonna be busy busy as of now..
