    Morning all

Washing being blown madly on the line. Invigilating done.

Exams not going well - DD2 has been very down and upset all weekend.

Turns out Geography teacher has given different advice to all the other teachers...and she wasn't even on the field trip that is half the marks for this paper!

Big hugs for DD. DS1 is resiting that paper tomorrow. Hope she is ok.

Seriously need to get on with some housework so I can treat myself to some time in the garden so best get busy.

    greenbee good luck for tomorrow

    Afternoon all.

I've had a reasonably productive morning. DD's room is tidy & bed made (miracle in this house :o), my room is tidy with my bed stripped & remade (another miracle :o:rotfl:), I've S&S the bathroom, sliced 2 homemade loaves and put them in the freezer, loaded the WM & TD and then sat down with ALL the unfiled paperwork and sorted it all out. Its only taken me an hour to sort through the papers and I'm only here now as I've just had my lunch. I've now got to fill out all the forms and get them in the post ASAP, as soon as I've gone and found a jumper as I'm freezing all of a sudden and swapped the washing over :(

    Laters

embb - Do you mean a traffic warden? or more well known round here as "ratbags"

Lunch decluttered. I'm gonna have to crack on - okay who mentioned making bread... I gotta do that too :rotfl:
Turns out to be a busy day.

AnWsmum thoughts for you today x

I've decluttered my yahoobies from the clenches of my ill fitting brazier, really need a new one. Checked emails to see if there's one from the housing, there isn't. Put some rubbish in the bin. That is all and I can feel a snooze coming on :o

    Good afternoon
Flying started well this morning. Washing hung out & another load on, DW emptied and vac'd through downstairs before taking DD2 to the orthadontist for 9am. Took her into school and went to town with Little Miss Sunshine & DD1 to get a birthday present for a boy I look after (birthday tomorrow, same as DD2!)
When we got back, I hung out another load of washing & checked emails/bank a/c's while DD1 was playing with bubbles in the garden with Little Miss Sunshine.
DH has phoned to say he has to go to Cardiff tonight as he has to do a presentation to the Exec in the morning (more $h1t hit another fan, it seems :() That means he won't be here in the morning for DD2's birthday. He said he will try to leave at lunchtime so he is back for dinner as we have promised DD a meal out. We are in Essex, so it's about a 4-5 hour drive.

Need to get cracking later, after the kids have gone home, so I can cross some more off the list :o

    I will be back!!

    Welcome
Brother and SIL are going to a wedding on Tuesday (who gets married on a Tuesday??)

Much cheaper to get married in the week especially if you are hiring a big country house etc. It's half the price of a Saturday. DSD1 has booked for a Wednesday to save DH 4K. It's still 2 years away so we might be able to save up enough to pay for it :rotfl:

DH is sleeping in the LR because his back is bad. I'm not brave enough to tackle the mess he creates. I've tidied the MB today and it's now sparkling like a new pin. The bedding dried on the line in 40 minutes (I used a double helping of matching pegs).

Sorry I was awol last week. The Moonwalk really took it out of me - it's made me realise how precious a good nights sleep is.

DH had hypnotherapy to try to stop smoking - I think it is a massive waste of 200 quid.

DS2 turned 13 last week so I have 3 teenagers in the house now. Does that come with a government health warning?

Hi to the noon HHCers Paulies_nixie, Natty 68, Shellie Sue & anyone else who joined us.

Sorry I didn't come back to start it off got a bit busy with the builders.

In my HHC I hoovered downstairs, made tea for builders, ate a big frog or 2,
panicked about the shed base being built the right way around, so rang shed company to check (look foolish but who cares)to make sure.

    I'm now filing.
