    Even if she would, this wouldn't revive it. It would be irreversibly dead after pre-wash, let alone full cycle.

    I'm quite concerned that you tried to turn it on before it was fully dry. ALWAYS MAKE SURE IT'S FULLY DRY BEFORE EVER PUTTING THE BATTERY BACK IT.

    Starting the phone up when it's still damp might make a savable phone a complete brick.
