They were on display with all the other glow bracelets and necklaces etc, and scanned them all - only sticks come out at 1p. Grabbed a few - still left plenty, but came up on till as withdrawn from sale. Sa called supervisor who said they shouldn't have been on display and refused to sell them to me. Well miffed after all the time I had spent looking for them this week.
Is this national, is it pointless me even bothering to look elsewhere ?[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.

I don't think that would help - when the sa scanned it at the till the message came up on the screen, at which point she sent for the supervisor. It has been read ok by the price scanner at 1p, no message there about not for sale.
Supervisor said she thought the shelves had been cleared of this item, and couldn't understand how they were back on the shelves......she looked at me as though I had done sonething dodgy.
They were on the shelves, so why can they refuse to let me buy it
I presume the self-scan tills will refuse to let me buy it as well......but if I do see any more on the shelves I will certainly give it a go.
Maybe this explains why people cannot find them, they haven't all been snaffled by other MSErs, but taken off the shelves. If Tescos want to get rid of old stock, why have they removed them from the shelves. if the price is wrong, why don't they correct their computers ?0 -
Tesco Eastville have 1 box of pink on the shelf, scanning a a penny each. Bought 10, no point being greedy.0
