Glow Sticks for 1p at Tesco...

Got 'several'
of these today, plenty left for others.
It is only the thicker glow sticks ( says LightStick on the bag ) that are reduced,
all necklaces & bracelets scan at 73p0 -
Asda are selling exactly the same glow sticks for 99p.0

Irvine tesco took them off the shelf, my mrs scanned one then took a box up... there were 8 boxes sitting... when they saw it was 1p they sold her 10 made a big fuss and removed them from sale.0

I found a couple of boxes before Christmas and got 20 in each colour (ie 60 in total) - no questions about quantity and not even counted at the till.
The next week I got a whole box and they called over the supervisor and counted them all before letting me buy them.
The kids loved them at christmas and they're much safer than candles. I can remember clubs charging £2.00 for these when I used to go out and that was a good few year ago. It'd be £4.00 each by now! 0 -
Tesco Extra in Reading had at least 50 pink glow sticks as of 10pm last night that were scanning for 1p0

How thick are the glo sticks? Thanks.0

They taper from approx 1cm at the top to approx 2cm at the base. They are about 15cm long.
