Tesco CS girl told me that they were left over from halloween. Also, an earlier poster said they were actually much better quality than the 'poundland' version.

Finally! found a box full of green at Tesco Homeplus, Telford - despite having had none for a couple of weeks. At back of store - took some and left some for another MSE'er.
BTW, if spending over £20 at Homeplus there is a voucher for £4 off in an A5 sized booklet which can be found at the 'normal' Telford Tescos, and at shrewsbury (not been anywhere else)

I brought 60 today for a party bags for my son't birthday. They where 1p the cashier looked shocked but put them through. They obly had blue & Green though

thanks for this, i missed the origonal post but sore this today so had a look this evening
i found plenty on the shelves at tesco extra longton! tried 2 first and they did go through at 1p so went back for a few more. still plenty there.

Some Tesco stores have a blue machine that you can scan things on if the price isn't obvious.

they are with the party items in the store i mentioned they were round the other side of the shelves with the party plates invatations etc easy to spot though. was a lot of the bracelets and necklaces as well but dont know how much they are? htosu
