Morning All.
Lovely day here too! washing drying nicely - more than I can say for the pool of water I found in the garage when I went to collect washing from the machine! The hoses all felt dry and I have cleaned the filter (although it looked fine) so will wait and see what happens next wash. May need the plumber...
Been to the supermarket, which was nice and quiet for once. Busy day here as we have a "Come and Sing Messiah" today. Rehearsals all afternoon, performance this evening. Actually feel so tired I'm tempted to help with the registration and then sneak back home again! However, I know I'd regret it as I've been looking forward to it for ages.
Have continued throwing rubbish out from boxes. Am beginning to think we didn't need any extra insulation - all those boxes were doing the job for us! Stangely satisfying seeing loads of junk heading off to the recycling centre/tip!
Hope you all have a great day whatever you're planning. Where are the pics of Lowsey's baby??
Take care.Resolution:

Morning all,
Up early and ready to go swimming with DDs 1&3 but no sign of them yet....one lot of washing in, another out and one in wash so don't feel completely useless, have other things to do but don't want to have to stop in middle of something if the swimmers arrive....or is that just an excuse to sit here??
Overcast and very windy here, OH was up at 8 and has the fire lighting so he is obviously feeling the cold. Need to stake the peas to-day or they will get all mixed up together and end up on ground, no shortage of stakes as there are lots left from trees we felled couple of weeks ago. Not sure what we will have for dinner, think maybe pizza as haven't made one in ages.
DD3 is going out to the local with her favourite uncle for a few drinks before she leaves....think some of rest of family are going too, don't like the place, or the people who run it so will be staying at home....come to think of it will probably have DGS2 for company so that's a good excuse.
Need to do a bit of shopping at some stage to-day, need spuds and veg for to-morrow's lunch, going to make a rhubarb crumble for pudding so need extra milk for custard too....better write a list as there isn't much food money left for May...
Have a good day all

Well, i am back from doing my bit to make sure i am still the favourite child and spent the day pressure washing then painting the deck for my parents. My mum is going away for a few days so I came back with some bread, lunch meats and other bits and bobs so no need to shop this weekend!
I was going to walk the dog again but he's in a snuggly mood and seems to want to chill, so we shall watch a movie instead (he does actually watch tv! Think Gromit rather than your average dog...)
OH is still working, I expect he will be till this evening, so i am baking some rice krispie cakes as a treat for him later.
Still sunny but it's clouding over slightly, high chance i now have sunburn...
Need to hang some more washing on the line and pop another load in and bedding could do with changing, but i prefere to do that on a sunday.
Oh remember that bird that pooed on me yesterday? Well, i've bought a lottery ticket for tonight....could do with some Charlie Bucket luck right now!!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Afternoon All
Thanks JG, just been busy this week. Have had 2 estate agents round as I need to sell this house. Not sure who to go with, they all seem to give you a load of talk but not sure this place will sell well in the current climate. Not even found anywhere that I would like to go!! Oh decisions, decisions. I'm not good at making them and as there is no OH to discuss this with I get worried it's not the right thing.
DD still happy with her job but has slowly borrowed back the money she gave me for keep! I knew this would happen with a small wage last month but hopefully she will be on an even keel when she gets paid this month. I was very proud of her yesterday, when I left for work I noticed she had a flat tyre and only had time to leave her a note (it was her day off and she was still in bed!). She had a puncture and changed the wheel herself and only took help from a passing lorry driver (who had seen her on the drive and turned around to help) to tighten the wheel nuts. Don't think there are many 18 year old girls who would know what to do - I must have taught her well!
Lowesy - Congrats on the new arrival, hope you are both well.
Silver - So sorry to hear of your Mum's passing, big hugs to you and your family.
Going to a charity night tonight with friends from work so should be a good laugh, think I need it!
Hope everyone is good and has a great weekend. Take care. XX0 -
Afternoon my lovelies

Turned out quite nice here with the weather (sorry Candy
)
Went to Aldi, spend ages putting together some space mobile thing for DS (still no finished), dashed off to a party with the kids, called at the park on the way back and they are now watching Moonraker on TV. DS will be happy chappy with that :rotfl:
So apart from food shopping I've not done a productive thing yet today  And I can't say shopping at Aldi is saving me any money either.....still spent £48 this morning
Word on Daisy the cat is she's still in intensive care, no op yet to wire her broken jaw BUT she's emptied her bowels which is good. My mum and dad went down to see her at the Vets and she tried to lift her head when my dad was stroking and talking to her (she's "his cat IYSWIM) which I am taking as a good sign. She's got a long road ahead of her I suspect and they will decide this afternoon if she's well enough to survive surgery for her jaw.
Sorry if I've missed anything, doing this at a pace as we are having our hair cuts shortly.
Hugs and spoons all round. Have a good day OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Afternoon All
Lovely day again so I have more washing on the line.
Could kill DD I picked up her rubbish bag and threw it downstairs not knowing that she had 3 bottles of ink in it  so DH had to scrub the hall toot suite - thankfully we have laminate which is due to be replaced plus a rug - the rug is ruined so I am not a happy bunny.
Apart from that a lazy day is on the cards all the house work is done so I won't feel guilty putting my poor swollen feet up.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
