new car has a funny smell

i have a vuaxhall corsa sri 1.6 turbo
when i get in and drive its fine, but when i turn engine off and open door i get a nasty smell, not sure where it coming from but smells like curry.
has any other corsa owner come across this.
also when i use washer bottle to spray window it smells of egg but i think this maybe down to what ever was put in.

no, it dont smell inside only when i open the door and it goes with in secs0

I would just hold your breath when you get out the car then you won't notice it!

Its probably just the rubber round the door being warm.
Mine used to smell a smell like cat pee, Ive no idea why but it faded after a few weeks.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Thne egg smell is stagnant water in the washer bottle.
Get it drained out and refilled.
The other smell could be something simple like a bin bag wrapped around the exhaust or a brake binding
Or someone is cooking some pakora on the air filter housing...0 -

And also really inconvenient and possibly quite dangerous when the car breaks down in the middle of nowhere at 1am on a Sunday morning with rain lashing down...0 -
