No. My current contract expires on 1st June & then I will move onto a sim only deal.

I didn't want a new phone so enquired about the sim only deals & was offered a standard package with 250mb data for £10 a month. But I decided I need more data than that & they came up with the offer mentioned.

allan673 is right - you don't have to take a dedicated iphone package, even though the only sim only deal they offer for iPhone is £25 p/m. Make sure you speak to someone who knows what they are talking about, as there are plenty at Orange who don't!

I think this thread kind of answers my question but I ought to check anyway. I am also looking to get a sim free sim card for my iphone the best rates I have seen so far are with 3mobile the sim 600 plan which is £15 but it seems much better value than the specific Iphone 3gs plans which they have, is this merely them trying to cash in on Iphone users or would I require this plan for it to work on my Iphone?
