1st smartphone - HTC Desire?
I am after my first smartphone, would love an I-phone but refuse to pay the cost.
I have seen some good deals on the HTC Desire.
Would anyone recommend this phone even though it is a year old now, or should I hold out for some Desire S deals?
My brain starting to hurt now!:o

The Desire S is cheaper then the Desire at the moment for some reason. Carphone Warehouse are doing it for £18 something a month.
My lad has had the Desire since it came out and loves it, he can almost run his business on it !0 -

The Desire was the first half decent Android phone but it's starting to show it's age now. I would deffo go for the Desire S. Otherwise in 2 years, it'll be an utter brick.0

I don't see the original Desire getting official support past Gingerbread (Android 2.3, due in June/July), and the Desire S is already running it (so is more likely to see new updates). BUT! I just can't figure out why networks are throwing the Desire S at people for nothing.0
