Argh!!! I'm now watching the clock waiting for OH to come home from work so he can take me to tesco.. may have to ring my dad to take me instead lol. Got a joint of beef (free from DTD) out of the freezer last night, could do with a couple of sides to go with it anyway. I wont be using mine as specific meals, just use what I want when I want (like today will put 2 sides with my beef then stick the rest in the freezer). Stick the wine in the pressie box lol. I'm gonna get four lots, use £20 voucher, £20 cash.. and get a £20 voucher back.. and repeat0

That's a waste of £4, better off doing 2 x 2 lots and get back £240 -
Some people really do need something more fulfilling in their lives than worrying over how many thanks they (or others) get.0

Well those little monkeys at Tesco thought they could pull a fast one on me......!
Went to the chiller cabinet, no Turner Road Chardonnay (everything but it would seem).
Decide to take a little trot down to the wine aisle - lo and behold, there it is on the shelf with absolutely no label whatsoever, not even a price!
I take two bottles and go back to get the rest of the bits.
Just logged my receipt details and awaiting my voucher = happy days!0 -
Thought I was pretty confident about how these glitches worked but confused again.
Do different stores have different products in the deal?
If your store doesn't have the wines as above in the fridge with the deals will the £10 not work and no chance of dtd in store either?
Last week the 2 puddings instead of side worked with the gu pudding but didn't try with the other pudding so which substitutions work?
Do they change the contents of the deal weekly/fortnightly or what? Can't see this elsewhere in the forum, so apologies if this is a double post.
Tesco price checker doesn't take into consideration meal deals when comparing prices to ASDA.
The meal deal currently has Turner's Road Chardonnay and Merlot in the offer (Tesco price £9.99, Asda £4.06)
So after you put you're receipt in to the price checker you get you're Main + Side + Desert + Wine for £4.07 (£10 - £5.93 voucher)0
