Ok I feel really dumb for asking this but.. Can these wines be used in cooking? Sorry, not a wine drinker, nor have I ever cooked using wine, I always avoid recipes that say to use 'a splash of wine' because it would be a waste of money to buy a bottle just to use a 'splash'.

Same here, in fact even the white isn't showing up online when I log
    in to my local store.

Do all stores have to include all the items that are in the list that a1cat posted?

The comparison they use is national, ie each day Tesco survey Asda's online prices - Asda doesn't stock all items in every store but that doesn't matter, Mr T will draw up a database of prices using the most common price across all Asda regions.

Since Turner Rd is proven to work as a comparison, your only risk is if the Tesco cheats deliberately make it N/A on the database.

In which case you've bought the meal deal for £10 instead of £4, not exactly the end of the world

Definitely yes, I'm quite a good cook.

Red in boeuf bourgignon or white in a seafood sauce etc - excellent addition to lift the flavour

I haven't done this kind of glitch before.......I just tried an online order, 8 items altogether off their offer list and it still comes in at £40.09 - not at the £20 I expected. Will it be charged at the right price?

Thanks for the reply but I don't think I explained myself properly. What I meant was that when I'm logged in to my local branch, the meal deal doesn't show the Turners Rd, so if I found it in store would it still be included?

    Many thanks :)

thanks  will get my dad to give me a lift to tesco asap then, then I can put some in the slow cooker with the beef.. hope we like it though, can't stand the taste of wine to drink, but I assume in cooking it's a different story? I hope so anyway :o
