    morning!

can anyone tell me if there was a conclusion to the issue of different stores not including certain items in the meal deal?

my tesco wouldn't 'let me' have lasagne the other day as it wasn't in the right section of the fridge, but it is still showing included if i log in and put the deal in the basket.

just wondering if i should print a copy of my basket and argue the case or not?

Have you tried putting it through the checkout and seeing if it works? Could always get them to void it if it doesn't work. I thought that everything listed in the deal online should scan through in the deal even if not in the specific chiller. I often have to get items in the other fridges but it still goes through ok.

Not sure that would make any difference, they would just argue that online offers don't apply to their store I think.

Why wouldn't your Tesco let you have the lasagne? Was it an assistant that said no, or was it the till? If an assistant, then I would just try again with the ss tills. If it was the till, then I don't think there's much you can do apart from try another store.

I'm still waiting for my vouchers from yesterday.
I'm going out to buy 2 more... i guess i can use the vouchers on something else when this deal gets pulled!
Let you know if its still working...... definitely using the self service checkouts and buy 2 desserts instead of 1 starter and 1 dessert!

I meant to ask on here but post on the Price checker thread so excuse me for asking here too.

Has anyone had a voucher back today yet, I'm still waiting for Saturdays, first price check this calendar month. Was wondering those of you that have had vouchers back did you have any other shopping on your receipt or have price checks come back with just meal deals on. My store now has stock of the chicken, ham and cheese things and would really like to try it but can't afford to spend any more cash. I didn't use a clubcard would that make a difference. Have tried inputting receipt details again but say already being processed. TIA

I didn't realise you could do that! Just checked and online I can have 2 sides instead, which is better for me as I don't do desserts really.

the till said no, then when the supervisor was called she said lasagne wasn't in the deal, I hadn't looked on line that morning to check it was there or not so i didn't argue.
(when i'm saying argue i don't mean raised voices red faces fists flying or anything)
