the till said no, then when the supervisor was called she said lasagne wasn't in the deal, I hadn't looked on line that morning to check it was there or not so i didn't argue.
(when i'm saying argue i don't mean raised voices red faces fists flying or anything)

Was it the right size lasagne? I remember reading about someone else who bought the wrong size by mistake. I am not saying you did but may be worth checking it's the right size - mine is 700g and worked ok

Just wanted to mention that I opened a bottle of the Turner Road Chardonnay last night and no way is it worth £9.99.

For that money you can get a fabulous New Zealand or Australian wine, Wolf Blass for instance knocks spots off the TR.

My conclusion is that the deal is only worth bothering with if you can manage to get a RTD voucher (mine hasn't come yet) as the wine is worth about £3 - £4 only and so you're paying £6-£7 for the food -- which isn't really much of a bargain imo. :(

    Oooh, just had a thought. There are 2 finest lasgane's, a 700g & an 800g. The 700g is in the deal, the 800g isn't.

    See here.

You couldn't by any chance have picked up the wrong one could you?

Edit: Oops. I just read on to the next post & see some-one else suggested the same thing. It's very easy to do, I nearly did it myself when having to collect my lasagne from it's normal home.

Is the Red Turner Road still included in the deal? I can only find the white on Tesco pages with all the meal deal items.

Yes the turner road merlot and chardonnay are included. I have just come back from Tesco and bought:-

    Meatballs
    Chicken & Asparagus
    1 cheddar mash
    1 rosemary potatoes
    2 green vegetables

1 red and 1 white turner road

Total price £20 minus my £11.86 voucher total price to pay £8.14. I will input this receipt into pricechecker and hopefully generate another voucher for £11.86.

This is my 3rd shop for the meal deal this week and have had no issues, except for the wine not being located with the meal deal section, in my store its in the wine aisle. Don't forget you can mix and match the sides and desserts if you wish, as I have done. HTH

To be fair, I think we all know this. It is, however, personal taste as I quite like the white but the red is fantastic IMO. It's £4.06 a bottle in ASDA so this is what I value it at. However, I'm currently paying £4.07 for the entire deal.

I don't care if the wine was Lambloodybrini, I'd still buy it! £4 for a serious meal for two is good in my book.

    Chicken and black pepper pasties
    Chicken and Hamhock pies
Chicken stuffed with ham and cheese
    Chicken and Asparagus
    Meatballs
    Haddock Fishcakes
    Lasagne
    Veg Lasagne

HTH - sorry for any omissions

I have tried that and have not been lucky, I know it's been asked before but it is the back and forward arrow buttons at the top left hand corner of the screen you use isn't it? :(

It's your standard browser back button and then click on "submit" again. If it doesn't work, resubmit the voucher changing the time by 24 hours. For instance if it's 1.30 put 13.30. Change nothing else - no date change etc. You will then have to wait until tomorrow but it should work.
