Does anyone know if the glitch where you could substitute either a side dish or dessert with an extra main course still works?

I don't think it does any more. It seems to have been fixed.

I've just been looking online at Tesco and certain items that are under the £10 meal deal tab don't seem to activate the discount, for example I had the parsnip mash, beef in tomato and wine sauce, dessert and turners road wine and the dicount didn't kick in. What I'm wondering is if the discount doesn't kick in could you go to CS and get DTD, then submit to the price checker for TD voucher?

Yes, that would be fine. Sometimes they do kick in in store though.

That's a great bargain! I was not aware of this price check thing before.

Anyone know if this bargain is still available tomorrow? I assume I need to check the price of Asda first?

I bought the Tesco Finest Tapiwey Vineyard Sauvigon Blanc, it was advertised as part of the meal deal on the SEL and it had a little tag on the bottle neck to show it was included. It didnt go through as part of the deal so a trip to CS and 15 mintues waiting for the trout to admit I was entitled to double the difference as per the sign behind her big head and I walked away with the meal deal and a refund of £17.98.

I bought the beef in red wine, dauphinaise (?) potatoes and profiteroles (if that helps). The wine doesnt show as part of the deal on the website so might be store specific.
