    Slight tangent but I tried entering details of my online shopping and it wont recognise me no matter how many different order numbers I try (all within 28 days) anyone else had this problem?

    I have this problem with a big online shop I had delivered last Monday.

    I e-mailed Tesco, giving them my postcode and order number, but got a rather unhelpful reply saying that if I cannot enter the details into Price Checker, then they cannot make a comparison. So I'm up the swannee.

    thanks op
    will give it a go tomorrow:)

    but... which 'side' is supposed to go with the lasagne?? nothing that i can see! a bit of garlic bread side would have been nice or even some kind of fancy chip type things at a push:rotfl:
  • Don't really want to rain on anyone's parade but what you are basically getting is the food for £4.06... which is not really that great as it is totally overpriced in the first place and not really all that.

    Or the wine for £4.06 (Asda price) & the food free.

    Actually there were only 2 of us at home last Sunday so I blew a voucher on a couple of these meals. Never bothered before as they are so expensive, but must admit it was lovely..and a big treat for me, no cooking a Sunday Roast, no washing up...and 2 bottles of wine all for me...:rotfl:

    Try the rosemary roast potatoes. They're very nice, & cut into little cubes rather than full roast size of potato.

    Actually, as I just said above, I bought 2 meals last weekend. 2 Beef in red wine, one side of the rosemary potatoes & one side of the petit pois, leeks & pancetta. I also bought the cheese & the chocolate dessert. The peas were lovely & I perked my own value peas up a little later in the week the same way...stir fried a chopped rasher of bacon & sliced leek & then added the cooked peas. They went down very well...a change from boring old peas on their own.:)

    Oh, & just another edit in case it is useful to anyone. A few of the items I wanted were just an empty space on the meal deal shelf, so I went for a wander, & after checking barcodes, picked up the items I wanted from the relevant sections of the shop...including the wine aisle...& everything went through the till perfectly.

    I'm having the same problem, when i enter details from my online shop it says they can't find my details and to try again. I phoned Tesco but advisor couldn't help so they have passed on details of the problem to the IT dept and to wait for an email or phonecall from them. Don't suppose i will hear anything.
  • does the "2 mains glitch" still work with this (as worked way way back) or has that long gone..

    Nice idea :beer::D
    There are 5 of us, so for £8 I could, if I were so inclined, get:

    IDShot_225x225.jpgIDShot_225x225.jpgIDShot_225x225.jpg
    5010186017315_21000_IDShot_2.jpeg5010186017322_21000_IDShot_2.jpeg

    Which would be £8 well-spent IMVHO! :D:rotfl::D:rotfl::D

    I made two 'main meals' from my side order dishes...

    Risotto with creamy garlic mushrooms and stilton (from the cheese box)

    And

    Pea, leek and pancetta omellete with some of the cheddar cheese from the cheese box. (tastes much better than it sounds, trust me!)

    Was well pleased with my two meal deals last week, especially as I got them for a reduced price with the 25% off wine deal. Two more purchased tonight with the turners road.. fingers crossed it works :D
