  • Was getting impatient there but my voucher just in.

Was aiming for a £40 shop to use a £5 off voucher, (which ultimately didn't work, but you've got to try :D)

A couple of old favourites still working to top up voucher value to £20

    1 x CORSODYL DAILY DEFENCE MOUTHWASH 500ML £ 4.50 £ 4.48
    2 x TESCO SEMI- SKIMMED MILK 2.272LTR/4 PINTS £ 2.50 £ 2.00
1x MULLER CORNER GREEK YOGURT HONEY A/COT 150G
    £ 0.61 £ 0.25
    1 x DR. OETKER RISTORANTE PIZZAFUNGHI 365G
    £ 2.79 £ 1.00
    1 x TURNER ROAD RESERVE CHARDONNAY 75CL £ 9.99 £ 4.06
    2 x TURNER ROAD RESERVE MERLOT 75CL £ 19.98 £ 8.12

The rest of the meal deal all n/a so £20 voucher.

2 more meals this afternoon methinks.:)

ok stupid question... does wine go out of date?

No risk of wine getting corked here - screwtops - red wine should be perfectly drinkable for 20 years or more if stored in a cool place (not more than 18C and preferably cooler).

White wine does tend to lose its freshness after 2-3 years but will still be perfectly OK to drink 10 years old or more.

The modern wine-making process used in Turners will mean the wines will be largely free of any contaminants.

The GU puds are not in the deal, they look like they should be but don't actually have the "special" yellow deal thing online.....

    Yes maybe, but the website is confusing when it lists them as being under the offer;

Off to do another shop, hopefully i can find the old trout who served me yesterday, I only bought the meal dont like tesco now theres no DTD, she picked up my turner rd merlot and scoffed "thats not on the deal, thats £9.99 you know, your not gonna get all that for £10, you'll have to change it for a cheaper one thats displayed with the offer ", "no" i replied " i like that wine, i'll pay for it" all the time i'm thinking please god work!!
Well her face was a picture when it came up £10!!, can't wait to go back and do the same but now give her my £5.93 voucher, hope she's there lol

Just back from Tesco, got two meal deals with the Chicken Kiev main and the Turners road red, the meal deal didn't work, it took some money off but not the correct amount.
Went to CS and she said the Kiev's were not in the deal. She was not sure how it worked and kept trying different combinations products. Anyway she spent 20 minutes trying to figure it out but couldn't, in the end she gave me the Kiev's as part of the deal and refundeded me the £9.50 overcharge. I did not ask for DTD as she said the Kiev's were not part of the deal.

Should I has asked for DTD?

Just a shame they kick up a stink when I try to spend my DTD vouchers in there

My store is also getting funny about taking the DTD and TD vouchers - it is about a 40 minute wait each time now to get them authorised
