£10 Tesco Meal deal for £4.07

WARNING.....Just got back from Tesco..£10 meals with wine, had to take the wine on offer, none of which look to be on first glance to be cheaper at Asda. Ogio, Marquis Cara something, and roko red and white. The team leader said the £10 deal wouldn't work otherwise.
Am going back to try with Turners.

the turners road is normally with the wines not with the meal deal stuff
they havent put them with the deal stuff for a reason

Meatballs report: meatballs were of excellent quality, the meat tasted as if their claim that it is steak meat is correct. But the sauce needs pepping up, I like hot stuff so chucked on a load of hot pepper sauce but you could also probably try something like a lot more ground black pepper, a smidge more salt and a fresh herb such as basil roughly chopped.

Re Post 172...I didn't actually do the deal, am going back for Turners (know where it is, had 3 helpers including the Tesco cleaner hunting for it yesterday). Though if anything in the meal is freezable will have to use neighbours.

what a load of hassle I had! Poped into my tesco extra store-got what I thought were the finest meal deal, after looking online and writing down a list of what to get. Bought chicken kiev, turners chardonnay, vegetable side dish and citron tarts - only to be told ahd to have certain ones which were placed at the end of the row! I went to customer services explaining that i had looked online before shopping - but was told individual stores have different meals in the deals???? Has anyone else come across this? Didn't know if I should ring and querie with someone at head office. In the end had to settle to for a wine I didn't really want and pies instead of kievs!!:mad:

Just back with the turners merlot in the deal. Will go buy a new freezer and then buy some more! lol

Then on the way home told my mum the deal and she bought the wine from me 3 for a tenner. Good for me!
