If it is on the Asda website, and you buy it in Tesco, and your meal deal costs you £10, then it will, and in fact, has worked! It doesn't matter a hoot if it's not on the Tesco website. They compare what you bought at the price you paid with what's on the ASDA website (not the Tesco one).

YES I KNOW they compare with Asda (although I'm going to wait until someone gets their price check voucher back today - as we ALL know from DTD that what's compared one day doesn't mean it's compared the next day, It might still not be compared tomorrow!)
What is worrying me is that the TR Merlot has disappeared altogether from the Tesco site and it looks like the TR Chardonnay is also about to disappear from the meal deal. As our store has little or no signage up anyway I wondered if ALL items (if found in the store) on the meal deal will work in our small Tescos?

I looked at the deal earlier this week & the only mains with signage in ours was the fish cakes and the lasagne.

I think it's nationwide promotion so if they stock it, it's in the deal. The poster above (helloomoto) has had it confirmed. I bought it in my Tesco last night and it worked. I don't see any reason for it not too today but if it doesn't, just don't buy it.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Some people really do need something more fulfilling in their lives than worrying over how many thanks they (or others) get.

Thanks ;) Seriously though. It is nice to acknowledge other peoples posts, if it benefits you. Some take hours scouring competitions, looking for deals, coupons etc to help others. Thumb-up.gif

ignore me, i can see how it works out now, i thought the total you actually paid was £12, not the total from what they compared.
    Thanks

Yes, I paid £13.01 out of my purse, however the £12 appears to be the applicable items total - £9.99 and £0.84 and £0.45 and £0.72 excluding the N/A items

    HTH

    Thanks!! :D:D:D

I agree about the TR Chardonnay. It was no where near the deal isle. But it did scan okay. And for those who don't fancy lots of shops. Buy 3 deals and your cost will be £30 - and you should get £17.79 back in voucher - which is just under the £20 limit.

Just received my RTD voucher for £18.18

I bought 3 meal deals yesterday - including the Turner road Merlot (you have to look down the wine aisle beacause I think mr T's are trying to be sneaky and hide it from us - although it IS on the deal)

supplemented my shop with ben and jerrys (as these are 9p cheaper in Asda) so that I could use my £5 Morissons voucher...

so all in all £40 shop = £12.82, definately worth it!!!
