I've just done my shopping list with comparisons so I'll post back tomorrow if I get a voucher. Just off the top of my head though, Veetee Dine In Rice is on 2 for £1.50 in Asda or 3 for £3 in Mr T (£1.49 each). If you get 2 you should get £1.48 RTD, if you get 4 you'll get £1.49 if my calcs are correct. Obviously there's less outlay with 2 and it depends on the best before dates.0 -
the finest tomato and mozarella pizza still compares T 4.25 A 2.00 hth0

Does anyone know whether Taramasalata compares successfully with Price Check, please?
I can't believe they now price it at 95p (or two for £1.80) in Tesco when it's not long since it was 65p (or two for £1.20). Seems like daylight robbery... it's gone up at Asda too but still cheaper there at two for £1.50 (also cheaper still at Morrisons, two for £1.30, but isn't as smooth and tasty as Tesco's in my opinion); for convenience I'd prefer to buy in Tesco and claim the difference back using Price Check if it works!0 -

No, they don't seem to. They will just come up as n/a.Does anyone know whether Taramasalata compares successfully with Price Check, please?
I've not seen it mentionned, but no reason why it wouldn't work..if the sizes are the same etc.
Some-one just has to be the brave soul who tries it & comes back & confirms.:)0 -

hthnow has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -
Wish Tesco would change the food selection for the meal deal, even though did manage to get the fishcakes with leek and cheese sauce today, not seen them in my Tescos before. Fed up with the veg and dessert choices though.
Keep the turners and change the food Mr T, please. x0 -
Can anyone remember the outcome of an earlier conversation, this thread moves so quick I can't find it now.
Someone had frozen their cheesecakes, someone else said theirs said don't freeze, first person said I'll defrost one and try it. Can anyone remember if it was ok.
I need mine for 4th June and although they have got that date on them wouldn't want to risk it.0 -
Just had a proper nightmare at T's. Went to use a couple of small vouchers from Turners just under £12 to buy some plants. The SA said as it was just over the £10 mark it came up on the screen to check with team leader. She came and took the receipt away, came back with another supervisor who said the Tesco receipt was not acceptable as 'our receipts do not have scissor marks on them so this is not acceptable'. I said I was 100% sure it was fine ans she went off to find the duty manager. The duty manager came along and said the same 'our receipts do not have scissor marks on them' implying that I had done something dodgy with the receipt. I said did they think I had printed Tesco receipts? She said I could call head office customer service if I wanted to. I said that indeed I did. I left the goods and went to the CS desk, all they gave me was a number to call. My OH, who hates vouchers and coupons with a passion was mortified by all this, wanted to get back for the race at 1pm so we went home to call CS. Called them but closed, and tomorrow for bank holiday. I looked at some of my friends old receipts and some of those had these scissor marks on them.
Decided to return to store to get CS to reprint my receipt to show that they were indeed exactly the same, and to show the scissor marks on the other receipts with different dates and till numbers on. I asked the guy on CS to please reprint my receipts for me and explained that I was made to feel like a criminal and and was very upset and embarressed. He was very nice and went 'out the back' to see if he could do so. He returned saying that he is very sorry and wanted to help me but the duty manager says he cannot do it, and that he is not to go back on what she said. The other team leader came across and asked me what they had said on the phone. I told her they were closed. I told her I was extremeley upset at what had happened, that I felt like they were saying I was a criminal, even worse a stupid criminal. She tried to wriggle out of it by saying she only said she had never seen these scissor marks on a receipt before, but I corrected her with the exact words she had said ' our receipts do not have scissor marks' and that she had showed me the blank till roll to prove this!!!!!!!!!!!! The cs lady also looked across and said exactly the same and even more problems there was some other writing on the receipt that showed it was not real. On close inspection this is the same details as at the bottom of the receipt only in reverse.
So now I have to wait until Tuesday with my blood boiling until I can complain to anyone. Question is has anyone else noticed these scissor marks? Or this back ward righting? Or am I going mad? What do they mean? What do I do now? Thanks for reading and sorry for the rambling I was so upset I didnt get my parsnips or yorkies for lunch.0
