Tesco fruit - crap

Never had any problems with Tesco's fruit, but have had rotten fruit from Sainsbury's. I have had plums go from being hard to being rotten without ever being ripe!0

I've got to admit, the strawberries from Tesco do go bad quite quickly in my experience, Even when stored in the fridge (unless that's what's causing it). I never have a problem with apples and oranges from there though. This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0

Went to aldi yesterday for this weeks fruit - seem much better! Just eaten a pink lady apple - very nice and £1.79 for 6 against tesco £2.79
How do apples become inedible in just 2 days???"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -
Tesco's fruit always been fine for me, how odd. I prefer to buy from the greengrocer's though but sometimes Tesco is just more convenient.0

Bananas can apparantly cause other fruit to ripen quicker if they are next to each other, that added to the warm weather we have had recently may be the problem:hello: Hiya, I'm single mom, avid moneysaver and freecycler, sometimes  but definatly0

Its not a apparent. Its a fact:D
Even verne kay said it on the radio. His dad used to run (may still do) a fruit and veg shop and he worked there when a kid.
Have heard it from other sources as well and keep my bananas away from the fruit as well.
Not sure if the process is speeded up when banana are riper as well.0 -

Another sufferer from fluffy strawberry syndrome here...can't say I've noticed a problem with other fruit but the strawberries are a nightmare loads of times0

strawberries are the worst for that from tesco, and broccoli. I complained and got £15 card from them, and the manager said he would look into ways of avoiding in future.0
