I've given up buying it now because by the end of the first day it's starts to go rotten!
Has anybody else had this?

Nope, my fruit from Tesco is fine. I'm still working on apples from 2 weeks ago.0

lucky you
Strawberries go mushy after a couple of hours, grapes turn brown before the day is out, bananas are just as bad lately and I wondered why they were always on special offer, know why now0 -

May be you should choose your fruit better before buying or carry it home in a better condition or store it at home in a better way.
Fruit should not go from being fine to rotten with in a few hours.
Strawberry from any shop can go off quickly.0 -
Yes - I noticed this several months ago and now buy my fruit and veg at a local Lidl - much much better quality in terms of shelf life.“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0

it depends how you store it
that isnt why fruit is on spcial offer,
sounds like you picked fruit from top of the pile where it was the oldest stock0 -
Our local Tesco's (Peterborough Extra) is really poor on fruit and veg. Goes off really quickly so we don't buy fruit and veg from there anymore. I think its because its all flown in from outside Europe, thats got to add some time to the delivery.0

so all fruit and veg is from outside of europe, not all of it is, kiwis are from italy, apples are from the uk0
