I having problems getting my HP B110a to connect wireless to my PC, I have run various test on the touchscreen panel on the printer, but they all come back fine.
I have also been on HP support website, but I do not understand most of it!
The printer is offline constantly, my laptop cannot find it, I have downloaded updates etc from HP but to no avail.
I have noticed that my IP address for the laptop (talk talk router) is 92.29.130.*** and the printer has a default IP address of 192.168.*.*, is this the problem?
I am using Windows 7.
I need step by step help, I'm on the verge of getting a man in from the local computer shop to get the printer connected.
I would really appreciate your help. I see alot of people on Google are having the same problems with this printer, but if I'm honest I do not understand alot of it.

yes, it is only a few months old, and still haven't got it connected, read the manual cover to cover, installed drivers etc, but still it is not working, any ideas?0

yes, I have 3 laptops I would like to be able to connect to this printer, but I will settle for one laptop connected if that makes it easier.0

The bit that threw me was it isn't connected to the laptops, though as long as it is connected to a PC the transfer in 2B should be relevant

None, I have done all the above, but still it does not work. The printer is shown in the devices and printer and is showing with a green tick etc, but when i run the troubleshoot test, it states and I quote, network problems might be preventing this printer from printing. HP110 cannot be contacted by the network. port name: 92.29.130.160 port number: 9100.
Sorry it isn't connected to a PC, I don't have one, only 3 laptops, error in opening post, meant to say laptop not pc.0 -
My Epson's need to be connected by USB to set them up for wireless
If you do connect by USB then maybe the transfer data to them will help0 -
I could connect by USB and then contact HP. I was looking for a quick fix if I'm honest, I've had the printer almost 3 months and not got it connected yet. Had no problems connecting the old Lexmark printer. The local computer chappie was talking about £50 to come out and look at it, I could buy a new printer for that almost, but I'm getting desperate, the children need it for homework etc. Thanks for your help.0

If I connect by USB and contact HP for a data transfer, could they access my banking details etc. I do everything online from banking to shopping etc.I wouldn't want the bank to think I have been careless with my details etc.0

This is for USB Wireless set up
It’s very important that you do not connect your USB cable until prompted by your installation program.

Re the banking details, they already have enough money, and imagine them selling anything ever again if they got caught0 -
I'll give it a go tomorrow when i finish work, I'll get a bottle of wine in, it could be a long afternoon. Many thanks for your links and your help, very much appreciated.
