I don't think quidco have a choice if tesco have withdrawn the offer and are looking at applications made as was said in the quidco rep post it was tesco who were looking at the thread and pulled the offer.
If you dont like me remember its mind over matter, I dont mind and you dont matter ;)

Mine was a genuine application, all correct info given but the application was made purely because of the giftcard and cashback offer advertised on here.
I am wondering whether to just cancel the direct debit now rather than have months of hassle trying to chase up the quidco cashback and giftcard.
    What are everyones thoughts?

I'd roll with it and then if it doesn't come off at all take it to Trading Standards. Personally I think Martin should get involved here the forums bear his name after all and as the most influential man in grocery lol.

Come on MSE bring the guns to bear on this, we deserve an honest answer that those who HONESTLY took this offer up are going to have the PROMISE fulfilled

    Good morning,

Just to clarify the situation for you all:

    1) If you have made a genuine purchase with true and genuine personal details etc., having wanted to take up Tesco Life Insurance, then please raise a missing cashback claim straight away and Tesco will treat it as they would any untracked cashback.

    2) If you have made a purchase or multiple purchases with personal details which you know were not accurate or truthful, we would advise you to cancel straight away.

    3) It's not Quidco who have withdrawn the offer - it's Tesco, as the result of reading this thread, which they in fact brought to our attention.

As we mentioned in our last post, the actions of a few have again caused a problem for the honest vast majority here.

    Kind regards,

    Jules

    Quidco,
I do not want to get in detail, but the essense of your statement is that it is a grave crime and morally wrong for customers to discuss that a profit could be made off the deal. What's wrong with profit?

You offered goods or services. Customers signed up to what you offered and paid for it complying with the terms and conditions of the offer. You did not deliver the goods or services as described in your offer. It is as simple as that.

Nothing wrong with making profit. If you take time to read quidco's post properly they're saying if you have entered inaccurate details then it is wrong. If you entered truthful information then submitt a cashback query.

If you have made an untruthful purchase, which people have openly said they have, then cancel it. If you have entered inaccurate details about your health just so that you can get the cheap £5 month insurance rather than say £20 a month just to make profit then that is dishonest and spoiling it for others

    2) If you have made a purchase or multiple purchases with personal details which you know were not accurate or truthful, we would advise you to cancel straight away.

This is why I said I do not want to go into detail. Read Quidco's original statement.
