You have to make mess to have a proper sort out! otherwise its not proper my OH doesnt understand this logic lol!

well I completely messed my bet up and put it on the wrong thing :( i'm so thick!!! hahaha so i've signed up in OH's name to get another bet and have kept it simple! just 1 team to win! they'll probably lose though haha

I have packed a bit more of hospital bag but it is no way big enough, gonna have to take 2 bags, I havent packed toiletries, nighties, slippers, dressing gown (might not take this??) but still think 2 bags better than one, one for me one for baby :)

I have hoovered, just need to do a bit of ironing (or maybe not lol)

plus i cant stop eating today or yesterday!! i'm such a pig lol

    xx

all ive done is eat today too bella. OH has taken it upon himself to decide we need a fishtank off ebay, so hes getting the guy to drop it round, usually it would be fine but today not so, ive just had to get changed out of my slouchy clothes to go and get some money out, i have no make up on what so ever, and downstairs looks like a bomb has hit it, literally, with stuff everywhere due to the sort out, so am going to be hugely embarrassed to have a stranger come in!!!!! Grrrrrrrr

I've heard you should take two bags to the hospital one for you and take the babys changing bag filled with its clothes and nappies etc for him/her, no fuss then.

as it is really MSE I thought I would give you my tomatoe pasta recipe.

Put some pasta on to boil in a pan

in a frying pan heat a tbl spn of olive oil and 2 cloves of crushed garlic. Whilst that is gently frying, cut 10 or so cherry tomatoes in half and add them to the oil, add salt and pepper. If you're feeling flush, grate in a little parmesan and a very small glug of red wine, heat gently, cover the tomatoes keep checking and stirring until pasta is nearly done. Uncover the tomatoes then squish down with a masher or a spoon, then add the pasta and a little of the pasta water, stir all around and serve, mmmm mmmm

I used tesco value pasta quills and tomatoes in season from the garden to make it even more mse.

sounds very nice missy :) i'm still thinking about food lol!!! what can I eat next??

I think the bags got out of hand because I was in hospital a week before I had him then nearly a week after too so people where bringing me stuff and not taking other stuff home haha alot of them where carrier bags and gift bags. I wouldnt worry you dont really need 30 bags of stuff to have a baby lol

Stumbled across your diary when I was searching for Sky Bets (which Bella was talking about) as I do a bit of the old Matched Betting malarky I learnt about on here, and got reading your diary instead as I can relate to wanting to get debts paid off before baby is due!!
I've got an 18 month old little boy, but am mid way through cooking up the next (and last!! :D ) one at the moment!!

Have decided now that I'm going to spend a couple of hours this evening listing on Ebay, as I remember being in your position saying that I wanted to get everything out before baby was due first time around. Yet there is still some of it in boxes in the hallway!! Shameful seeing as you have done so well with yours!

Congrats on the baby - did you ever find out what flavour it was, when you had the 4D scan??
Out of pure noseyness, as I've not seen your previous diarys - what is it that your OH does workwise that he's away that much? I could probably have a search and find an old thread but am being lazy. I mean, umm, I don't want to waste valuable Ebay time :D:D :D

You sound massively organised, definitely a good thing that the nesting thing kicked in so early. But as everyone else has said, do make sure you take it easy as well!!

Oh thank goodness for that bella was then trying to think if I had 30 bags to take lol.

Hey monkeynut, lovely to be stumbled across, and to meet a fellow pregnant person :) I seem to attract them :) Congratulations on your baking baby too

My OH works on the rigs hun, so he's away an awful lot, really missing him at the moment to be honest. I am going to ebay stuff tomorrow I think, yet again have about 50 things to ebay, going to ebay them for a week and if they dont sell they are going to the charity shop, have had enough of them sitting around!!! No don't know the flavour, but keep randomly calling it ralphy as think it is a boy. 4d scan wasnt as good as I wanted as my placenta is on top so you couldnt see that much, it kept popping its face out and then back in again, it did stick its tongue out, keep swallowing and try and open its eyes though which was amazing!

    Oooooh theres a rainbow outside!!

I'm going to get in the bath now, not that I really deserve it, havent done anywhere near as much as I wanted today, havent even finished the sorting let alone all the cleaning that needs doing!!!
