Morning, well I've not long woken up, so much for waking up early!! Just drinking my tea then I'm going to get up, just listening to the radio again. I really think listening to the radio has helped with my cleaning, as I used to have the tv on but its a bit of a distraction instead of a help.

Going to finish the kitchen then going to do the downstairs toilet, then maybe the dining room then the utility, then hallway then livingroom, depending how much time I have and when I get my lazy a$$ out of bed!! Work tomorrow eeeek, I've been off for two weeks!

Right going to drink my tea now.

    Morning Missy,

You're doing well with the cleaning, I wish I could be as organized!
Spent the weekend at my boss' house, they went away for a weekend as she started to get exhausted. She asked me if me and my OH would look after their two kids and we said yes, it was fun! I really love the kids and see them every day (as I work in her house) so it wasn't a problem, she is also paying me for this. But hey, sleep deprivation is awful, you better get used to it! The little one is 8 months old and has never slept well, today he made a huge fuss between 5 and 7, than we had to put him to sleep at 8a.m as he was just knackered!

I'm off home now, have to do my OU assignment...Have a good Sunday!

Hey Kavics wow aren't you good looking after your bosses children, really good experience for you for when you have one of your own :)

Well I have finally finished my kitchen!! Finally, even scrubbed the outside of the cupboards and the bin, it looks fantastic though I have to say!

Did the downstairs loo too, am soo tired though, have taken myself off to bed for a little bit of time out, should really get the rest of downstairs done today, but then should really be listing things on ebay. Will see how I feel later. Could always finish the tidying tomorrow evening.

hmmm still have zero energy should really eat some lunch or something, think I might make a bolognaise and freeze some. Have loads of bits that could do with using up. I don't want to mess up my kitchen though!!

Only have one tin of chopped tomatoes, and really dont want to go out, do you think that if I used onions, mushrooms, grated carrots, lentils and mince, 2 beef oxos some tomato ketchup and the tin of tomatoes plus spices do you think it will be ok? am not sure, one tin is enough..... hmmmm

ok made it, its scrummy if I do say so myself! :) going to put the rest in the freezer.

I improvised a bit and I didn't put the carrots in.

I'll give you what I used if you like.

Store cupboard not much in bolognaise!

    300g ish of minced beef
    2 medium onions
    6 medium mushrooms
3/4 of a mug of lentils
    2 beef oxo's
    1 tin of tomatoes
    5 tablespoons of tomato sauce
2 tablespoons red pepper and tomato relish (yes I was just using anything at this point.)
    balsamic vinegar glug
    soya sauce glug
    worcester sauce glug
    italian seasoning to taste
    chilli flakes to taste
    salt and pepper
    3 garlic cloves

chop onions and mushrooms and crush garlic, heat a pan with olive oil and add the onions mushroom and garlic, stir until golden.
Add mince and stir until browned
add in the chopped tomatoes, then fill the tin up again with hot water and put in the pan, add the lentils, crumble in the oxos, stir, then add in all the rest of the ingredients, simmer for 20minutes until thickened.

There you have yummy bolognaise :)

ok have done the dining room. living room and hallway, still have the utility, sun room and middle bedroom to do. These will all take a really long time unfortunately!! The utility has all the stuff I didnt want from the kitchen, it also has lots of cupboards of sh$te to sort through, along with the microwave and the actifry to clean. The sun room has lots of blinds to dust, along with sticky stuff on most of the window paynes which need scrubbing off. The middle room still has all my stuff all in it, so will take forever. I guess I will do them tomorrow evening, or atleast try to. Have got an assignment to write by Thursday night so will be doing that from Tuesday night.

    Congratulations Missymoo.

I thought the same thing six months ago, but it has whizzed by and am due on friday.

Just remember to take care of yourself and pace yourself with the cleaning.

Completely off topic but it's just too good not to mention. Have just heard of a guy called Ed Sheeran, he's a singer, I just found him on youtube, he has the most amazing voice ever and he's just so talented, spine tingling, you can find him on youtube if you want some relaxing cleaning music, the city and the a team are the best songs I think especially the acoustic ones.

Hopefully I want to have it as naturally as possible, but being an 'older' first time mum whatever it takes to get him here safely.

Listen to your body missymoo, take a rest when tired. Mind you my nesting moment has only just kicked in. I would have loved a bit more time to have a cleaning frenzy.
