congrats and good luck on your journey.
Venice is beautiful. I got given a great tip, don't eat near the main tourist spots (overpriced and not great food).
Hope you don't mind me passing on the tip.
We went in August too and it was a scorcher!

That's a great tip. If you wander off the main tourist trail down tiny back streets and squares you'll find family-run cafes selling delicious and very fresh home made food and good wine/coffee, very reasosnably priced. I love Venice, hope you have a great time.

Missymoo, sounds like you need some lists! I run my life through lists and I can thoroughly recommend them - it's so satisfyng to tick things off when done. I've even been known to produce a spreadsheet for bigger household projects

Congrats on the pregnancy - sounds like your nesting instinct has well and truly kicked in !

Hey Linda, thank you for that, I am so excited about Venice!

Yes my nesting instinct does seemed to have kicked in, to the point of obsession though lol. Still in the middle of cleaning the bathroom had to make some phone calls though so I dusted the bedroom again whilst I was on the phone, which is really good for me as I usually just sit on the internet and then get even more distracted!!

I love lists! I have written one out for all the bits and pieces that need doing, literally each and every thing so that I get to cross them off as I go, I love crossing things off!!

I need to go to the supermarket at some point and get some more cleaning stuff, more to inspire me further and to get some much needed limescale stuff (technical term!!) and some air freshener, oh and some fabric conditioner, have really gone off the smell of the other stuff, very strange. Right best go and hang out the sheets!!

    Back soon

Finally finished cleaning the bathroom, talk about a deep clean, I have never cleaned that bathroom like that, it does look fantastically clean though :) Am knackered now, listening to the radio though which makes me happy. I'm going to get some lunch me thinks :)

Have had to stop for a while as my stomach hurts, but am going to get back to it in ten minutes or so, I've got all the windows open and its all lovely and fresh upstairs.

Am really dreading doing downstairs tomorrow, there is just so much to do, but so be it, I have all weekend.

Just having a cuppa and a harvest bar, might treat myself to some chocolate later.

The next job I'm going to do is the hallway which entails:

    Taking stuff downstairs
    moving suitcase
    cleaning skirting boards
    getting rid of cobwebs
    dust the bannister
    put books away
    put iron and towel away
    hoover by skirtings
    hoover floor
    hoover stairs

    I love lists. :)

Done!! Thank goodness, no it hasn't taken me that long, I've just been chilling for the last couple of hours as my stomach is hurting a little bit, think I've done too much, not going to do anything this evening to recoup. :)

Is it really sad that I don't want to have a bath because I don't want to mess up my nice clean bathroom?! I'm going to have one anyway I just don't want to because I'll have to clean it all again!! Going to have a lovely cuppa and some chocolate too :) My stomach seems to have grown overnight too, I actually look pregnant where as I didn't before I just looked like I had been eating all the pies!! As I've spent the day in my scruffs cleaning I feel like I need to do something to give me a little pick me up as I feel all dreary, so I'm going to paint my toe nails and scrub all of my make up off and really moisturise my skin really well, so that I feel all lovely :)

Really really not looking forward to starting the kitchen tomorrow, but needs must, I'll chill out tonight ready for tomorrow!!! Have a feeling the kitchen will take all day!!!

Right best go and see if my bath is overflowing!!
