Have been waiting for the update on this thread.
The decision has been taken out of your hands for now, yes, but it will be there at some point. I think by then you will instinctively know how you feel and what you want to do. .

Hi CG,
While you are off I would write down how you feel about the situation, how you felt undervalued despite your commitment to the company etc.
Not only will this get it all out of your head and onto paper so hopefully you can enjoy the week off.
When you get back to work could you arrange a meeting with a senior member of staff and let them know that you are a commited member of staff and want to use your skills to the advantage of the company etc etc but you haven't been able to because of the situation blah blah etc.
