I would buy it fot that price, you can get cashback from quidco and a discount code from the vouchers thread for at least 5% ,maybe more

I tried about 10 postcodes lastnight from various friends and couldnt get it to accept an order, and I note its gone from the website this morning

if you can get it for £512 I would still buy it , in fact if you can get 2 ..;)
  • I got an order in for a couple before it went, lets see... Would you be interested in buying the other if I get two!?

was this tv ever a misprice, or just a bloody good deal that wasn't around long? currys aint usually cheap so its good by their standards - but compared to woolies, the viewsonic is £110 (£190 with my staff discount) more compared to the technosonic for an extra 8 inches - is that a good deal?

hope you get one to be honest , somehow I doubt it after my conversations with currys , they told me there is none available anywhere in the country, then someone on here pops up and says they bought one yesterday doh !

its not a misprice, just a good deal , i would happily buy one if you get 2 but i think the chances of that are less than me seeing santa coming down my chimnney this year :rotfl:
  • who said they bought one yesterday?

i certainly ordered one - whether or not it will be fulfilled is another matter.

and is it possible to imagine that currys actually changed their minds about offering such a large tv for half the price of the next cheapest tv of the same size? when they say out of stock, it could actually be its not available [to buy].

with the rush to buy for christmas, it makes sense for retailers to push items that have the biggest profit margin.
