So to paraphrase: CAVEAT EMPTOR applies!!:mad::mad:
It's not been mentioned and i could be wrong.
You said OAP, are you an OAP? to me that would be clear why DLA has stopped, you should now be on AA shouldn't you?0 -

Yet on other threads, the OP is saying that the DWP have decided that s/he does not have sufficient care or mobility needs for DLA.
It's all very strange! If there is a genuine need, then the OP would be advised to get help with a new claim from CAB, DIAL or a Welfare Rights Officer.
They also change the term they got DLA for, from 12 to 20 to 20+ years, I can understand the 20 and 20+ could mean the same thing but 12 and twenty years are a long way apart.0 -

As I understand it, if someone is on DLA then they can remain on it even when they pass pension age. It's only new claims that can't apply for DLA and have instead to apply for AA
As far as the OP goes, I have been widowed, moved house several times and remarried, the only change that the DLA offices were interested in was any changes in address. They do however randomly selected indefinite (previously known as lifetime) awards for review from time to time and I actually had my award reviewed not long after I moved home. Not because of the move but just one of those things and my name came out of the hat so to speak.
I actually tried to inform the DLA offices of a change in condition last month but the lady on the phone said that since I was on high rate care and mobility then they didn't need to know unless it was notification of any improvement, I sent a letter detailing the changes and asked for it to be attached to my file anyway
