Any recommendations for decent bras non padded, non underwire, non laced, non sexy etc for a 14 year old?
DD is average height but much skinnier than her mum, lol. However she has inherited my b:beer:bs!
She is a 28C and finding any in that size is really hard. I had to get her 32C last time and she just has to have it on the tightest hooks..but still a bit big.

I'm still in bed
I'm loving this new laptop :rotfl: But I've not been lazy, I've be dealing with email, bra hunting and explaining stuff to DD who is still in her bed reading
Days like this are rare in this house but I'm getting up now, starting to feel guilty now I've spotted the time:eek:
Plans for today are to teach DD how to iron (her non-uniform stuff), do a bacon joint in the slowcooker with apple juice for lunches for me for the week, BM on at least once, and something hearty and hot for tea
I also have quite a bit of paperwork that needs to be done, as well as the lists from this week..and this is why I now feel guilty for still being in bed at this time
Right, I'm moving and so will DD
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Nicki, it must be something in the name today, I too am Nicky and I've just got up!!! Again unheard of in this house but I feel really lazy today and need to go do so ironing - worst job going0

Rain here, and I'm trying not to be grumpy about it as the water butts need it, but why can't it rain on work days only?
So I'm using the time constructively. The house is clean and tidy (I had friends to stay on Friday... Amazing how easy it is to do when you are motivated). I'm doing laundry, paperwork and batch cooking (tomato soup, leftover pheasant and vegetable soup and pigeon casserole - the latter in the SC).
I have a long list of frogs for tomorrow - I need to call pest control (wasps nest, and much as I'd like to leave it and usually do, it's on the log store in a part of the garden that is used); call a couple of bathroom places to come and quote next week, and speak to a neighbour about a chimney sweep. It's going to be a long work day too... A week's worth of client calls in one day, as I'm in hospital on Tuesday, and as it's a general anaesthetic I don't know when I'll be ready to work. I don't get on with anaesthetic, so is also at least a week with no driving :j0 -
Eaten my garden frog
WM1 done deciding about the line as we keep getting sharp showers but it is windy too.
I need to:
[STRIKE]make pastry
bake a cake
cook meat for pasties[/STRIKE]
finish front border done loads
sow a few seeds done some
[STRIKE]go to town[/STRIKE]
go to nursery postponed due to lack of time
hoover upstairs and wash bathroom floor
[STRIKE]wm No2[/STRIKE]
make our bed delegate to DH
[STRIKE]test DS3 on his spellings[/STRIKE]
print CC statement
possible boden order
Best get a wiggle on then! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Plan for today:
[STRIKE]HHC in DS1's room - bed and other bits[/STRIKE] Bed is ready apart from the pillows, because they're still a tiny bit damp
finish birthday/food shopping - make list first (need to find someone to look after DS2 - wonder if my friend has her twin grandchildren and could do with his help)
school work
HW with DS2
lunch
tea
more laundry - sort, wash, dry, put away, get ready for tomorrow WIP
[STRIKE]run[/STRIKE] and empty DW
whatever flying I can manage
new bedding on DS2's bed
strip and re-make our bed
Police phoned and asked to speak to DS1  - fortunately it was just to tell him that he can come and collect his i-pod (lost/stolen at a concert a few weeks ago). :T I've texted him, but not heard, so he's probably not up yet. I really need to talk to him!
Think I'll give DS1 another half hour, so I'm going upstairs to make beds and get dressed.0 -
