SOTD was a size 5.5 E at 1!!!yep she was a giant as was her dad:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Did you try the egg white, also a bicarb paste is meant to work well;)

i sat him in the bath with some bicarb in. he was very dubious of getting in but it seems to have helped. went to the chemist to see ifthey could recommend anything and they said to use using his cream. let it soak in a little then apply a very thin layer of vaseline to act as a barrier. he has had pull ups on all day as his pants just stuck to his bottom :rotfl:

ETA he was about a 4.5G at a yr!

    Evening All,

Been a busy day for me today, football this morning with DS2, then off to the other end of the city to pick up an oven from someone off the classified, its a lovely Siemens under counter double oven, which will do me fine until I replace my worktops next year, they had a hob too but it was damaged, and I wasn't about to replace my damaged one with another, so I'll need to keep watching for that. THEN back to pick up DS1, home quickly to get changed, off to book Ds2's birthday party, pick gran up, go to BHS to try on suits for DS1, scoot round the shops, and now home! Phew! Oh and a quick visit to my sister somewhere in all there too :rotfl:

So no OS at all I am afraid, but DS2 is at grans and DS1 is about to go up too; first time in two years they have stayed there overnight with gran themselves, DS1 is a bit nervous since she started taking the oxygen and usually will only stay if the aunties are there, but his wee brother was desperate to stay, so we are going up in a mo' when his stuff is packed. Unfortunately I am not feeling very well so we can't take advantage and go out, I think I have caught the cold, so we are having pakora and watching a movie on the telly and may have a noisy time later if the lemsips do their job ;) :rotfl:

    Have a nice evening all!

hi -havent posted in here for a while!

the day has been routinely busy with the ritual 9 lessons of screaming kids. we are rehearsing for the end of year show which does break things up--i have to sing dance and act which stresses me!--i am Capt von trapp in the sound of music and doing 'singing in the rain' as a solo for my sins--its a big theatre and we have sold 400 tickets so far with an expected audience of about 1000.--its times like these i wonder if i am cut out to be a teacher!

i am going down another blind alley in my financial life and havent got a clue what i am doing! i am thinking to raise a large lump of money on my uk home for no specific reason--i may buy another home out here or i may just keep it in a high interest account(9pc) and feel rich!--i am still suffering middle age compulsions(im 48) -this time it is a big motorbike which i know is totally stupid and dangerous! the only thing that i use as an excuse is the great weather!(plus my neighbour parks his nice chopper next to my scooter at night and i feel.....little)

a few weeks ago after work on saturday night i diverted to the pub and decided i was going to get plastered without asking DH. i was well gone when she turned up shouting the odds: sometimes a man needs his space and to just sit and get drunk!-i wasnt harming anyone and i dont have many pleasures(its the first time in 5 years)--tonight my wife left work at 6pm with one of the mothers to look for dresses. its now 9,55 and it is obvious they have gone out! what !!!!es me off is the fact i could have gone out as well but i scurried home after work to be home as dutiful hubby for when she came home! should i be angry!!--next week i will go out for sure!
