Just pegged out 2nd load of washing and it has started to pour with rain, it is going to be one of those days!:mad:0
-
I had my washing in and out so many times yesterday that it was like doing the hokey cokey!!! And it didn't even manage to rain properly! Just enough to make me frantically run and bring it in, then the sun would come out again. I swear I did that about 6 times yesterday between 2 loads!
Feeling quite pleased. Just sorted out a mountain of stuff which has been lurking in the bedroom after being 'unsold' at the car boot. Offered it all on freecycle and most of it promised already. The room will look much better.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Hi All
Just popped in to ask a totally OT question.
How long does it take to get an Aga hot enough to use from cold, stupid question I know, but I need the info as part of a story I'm writing & I don't know anyone with an aga.
Hugs Hester

oh eurovision song contest - i might watch a bit
as long as it it doesnt coincide with britains got talent and Dr who -i am addicted to dr who
Thankfully I've just realised I am out for a meal with a friend tonight so can avoid Euro-this-competition-is-a-fix-and-a-total-waste-of-money-vision :T
When DS got up he asked what day it way......it's Saturday. "oh good there's a Dr Who on tonight". My husband has corrupted our sweet boy :rotfl:
Not quite so grumpy you'll be pleased to know although the same can't be said for DD <rollseyes> or indeed DS. I might drag him out for a quick walk to shut him up for a bit, he's currently demanding to be taken to the castle in Norfolk that we went to last year <more rolling eyes>I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Morning All
Well it is bright this morning, sun shining nicely in the 'van but blowing a gale, think we need to stay in the 'van to add our weight to hold it down when the gusts come.:eek::eek:
We have a buffet reception with wine and soft drinks at the nearby Caravan Dealers this pm, and an American Supper in the village hall tonight, so will nicely miss ESC.
:D
Sorry to hear some of you are sleep deprived, that seems to be one think with the 'van you always seem to sleep well. I always promised my DS I would retaliate when he was older, but he has never been a stay-a-bed.
Managing to keep to the LCing, and off the wine:o

Morning All
Still struggling with this cold, went to bed at 9 to read for a while but ended up turning off the lamp about half past! DD at work and DS2 back from his camping trip with my car. The car was full of wet tents (it is also quite damp inside) which I have thrown in the garage for now. He will have to sort them all out when he gets up. Had the car windows open for a while but it's raining now so will open it up again when the sun shines (about 10 mins probably!).
Went to look at a couple of houses yesterday, one was like walking into the 1950s, it was quite sad really as it's an elderly lady who has moved to a home and all her furniture and effects are still there. Good house, much smaller than this which is what I need and funnily enough backs onto the one we lived in before we came here! The other was quite new but had lots of small rooms so wasn't keen. Also wasn't keen on the smell of dogs! As much as I love animals, I couldn't cope with the smell those two dogs made. Going to put this place on the market again and stick with it this time!
WM doing overtime and will be secreted about the house as I have 9 folk for dinner tonight, need to have a big clean up too. Have a good weekend all. Take care. XX0 -

Right need to get my @rse in gear
Done naff all this morning apart from spending £36 in Aldi which wasn't bad considering all the nice fruit and veg I got. H took DS to Sainsbugs to look at some clothes and ended up coming back after 5 mins as DS fell flat on his face and had a mahoosive nosebleed :eek: So I have bloodstained coat, top and jeans to add to the washing pile........life is never dull with my family around  I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife
