Surely the best way to get back at the plonkers is to get back at them? And you do not do that by abstaining. Look at Jeff, cutting and wasting time with blocks of legislation which has no relevance other than it is a "start point", but contributes sod all to the thread. And and and when he makes a typo, you are not there to point out as a pedants note what his errors are, and there are a few.

How much will it cost to set up a website where you would all feel happy contributing? If you all stay away LLZ will go from being the "Fortnum & Masons" of landlord and tenant sites to a "Car Booot Sale" version.

If you set up an alternative website, I will be the first to register and contribute, I promise.

Let it be free, and fairly moderated. Let the punishent for uncontrolled punning be eternal banishment to the Nether Regions;). Let confused people ask questions and cleverer people answer them. Let them have some fun along the way. Let it donate to charity, as MSE does.

As for coming back, some of us don't have much choice just yet! I'm still chained up in my cell, gnawing on stale bread and sipping brackish water. (Well, actually it's very nice here, I just like to feel sorry for myself at times).
