i think it could be £18 plus vat, £21.15??

not bad for office 2003 though.

i just downloaded the office 2007 60day trial. although, when it installed it said it would expire on 30th april, how that is 60days is beyond me.

Wen it installed it gives u the option to turn it into the full product, i was surprised by how much the price varies depending where you live.

    $150 usd
    £105 uk
    E160 euro

150 dollars is £75, so i dont know who does microsofts calculations!
Wonders if microsoft would know if you brought it in usd on a uk credit card?!

there was a competition I posted over on the comps board

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=354210&highlight=vista

the first 1000 correct entries in each scenario would win either XP or Office or both.. Comp is still live, but looks like they should of had the first 1000 by now!
How much more do I need to spend make myself a "Money Savings Expert"

MSE comping challenge 2007 - offset your internet costs with prizes
    Won £477 / needed £264

    £108 = Microsoft Vista - Ultimate
    £358 = Microsoft Office - Professional 2007
£11 = Girls On Top (I know what your thinking) DVD - Staring Dawn French

Well I'm either missing something or the offer is no longer available.

Have checked this out today and am being quoted a price of £154.71 for Office Pro 2003 Win32 English CD.

    And no option for 2007.

There is an option at the start of the process to enter a promotional code - but have seen nothing here about it. Is this needed to get the reduced price?

    Cheers,

    WaveyD

Are you sure? I just checked and they are deffinelty offering office 2k7:

The Home Use Program offers two versions of most Microsoft Office desktop programs: the current version and the most-recent previous version. You may want to order the earlier release if you’re using it at work or if your home PC does not meet the system requirements for the current version.
    Current version:
    Microsoft® Office Enterprise 2007
Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 is the most complete Microsoft toolset provided for people who must collaborate with others and work with information efficiently, regardless of location or network status. Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 includes Outlook, Publisher, Excel, Word, Power Point, Access.

    Previous version:
    Microsoft® Office Professional Edition 2003
Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 can help you and your organization communicate information with immediacy and impact. You can create powerful connections between people, information, and processes by using the latest Office programs. Office Professional Edition 2003 Contains Access, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook with Business Contact Manager, Excel.

The only costs involved is £17.31 to cover admin, delivery and media costs.
