LTSB Monthly Saver gone from online banking

I just noticed a couple of days ago that my LTSB Monthly Saver account (@5%) has disappeared from my online banking.

Today, I had a further look and on the Money Manager screens it says 1 account has been removed from my Money Manager!

Where's it gone? Can I not administer the account online anymore?

I'll call them later but just wondering if anyone else had the same problem?

Has it matured? On maturity the monthly saver is closed and the funds transferred to an easy access account.

My monthly saver, opened in the latter part of last year, is still visible in online banking.

No, it's only been open for 5 months! I better give them a ring...

Rang them up and they took my account number and said it will be sorted by the end of the day. Odd.

Is it closed? I seem to recall it simply being re-categorised but keeping the same account number. (Makes it harder to spot that it has changed and customers might continue to make the monthly payments but receive low interest after the first year.)

Can't recall, as my previous one was the two-year one @ around 7%, from memory, that was on offer a few years ago.

I know that I cancelled the SO and withdrew the funds ASAP after maturity.

    Mine has vanished also.

Money Manager says 2 accounts have been removed. I know one is my regular saver but I can't think what the other one is???

Only a small glitch. Their computer couldn't cope well with monthly savers, so they contracted out the IT to Nigeria. Cheaper, too. All the data was send to them on a memory stick. Just give these Nigerians a couple of weeks and they will will finish what they intend to do.
