    yep, but insurance exists to cover people who, for whatever reason, fail to control their car properly and if insurance companies want to restrict the different types of failure to control they will cover then they need to do it explicitly in your policy (as some do with alcohol related incidents)

    So, as always, the advice has to be "read the policy"
