I understand your excitement Hester. I was very excited too as we had homegrown lettuce on our burgers last night which made me very happy. Everyone commented on how fresh it tasted:T:T:T We have cabbage nearly ready, beans and peas have flowers on, beans climbing up their poles. Oh I love it:T:T:T

    Morning HH and everyone else

Lovely & sunny here, but cooler of late. Still not got my spuds in - is it too late d'you think? :(

Had interviews for 2 different jobs on Tuesday; one I'm now not keen on, the other I've been told I'm now 1 of 2 left & have to go again next Monday to meet all staff (other candidate doing the same), then they'll make their decision. I'm really pleased even if I don't get it, cos there were over 130 applicants, so I must still have a bit of something going for me! :j

A bit of shopping this morning - no loo rolls etc! - tidying/ironing this aft, then taking littlies to a birthday party at teatime - tea for the rest of us will be freezer surprise or grilled cheese on toast.

Hope you all have a good Friday, see you all later. Hugs & kisses all round.

    morning all

planning a busy day to keep myself occupied today.[STRIKE] need to put the dishwasher on again. [/STRIKE]something blocked the talbet part so it didnt open so still have dirty plpates. [STRIKE]some washing that needs folding and putting away too[/STRIKE]. i want to try and sort ds' drawers out and he has a lot of clothes that he doesnt wear/too small that could be packed away. will give him a bit more room too.

after that i am off out for lunch. looks nice and sunny outside.sounds morbid but we are actually going to the cemetery and will probably have a picnic there. must find some sunglasses out. my head is pounding as it is, squinting in the sun will make it worse. i have a funny feeling that i may need my blood pressure checked... i keep getting the same 'floaty' bits in my eyes that i had when i was pregnant and that was due to high bp.

this afternoon i am hoping to go out into the garden. its being over taken by weeds again. my broad beans are getting too big for the pots they are in. do you think i could get away with putting them in grow bags? :o my peppers are growing just very slowly. i have some carrots seeds that i havent planted and the pack says that i have til july. seems a bit late to me :undecided but what do i know. i have an old tin bath that is filled with compost and weeds so may try planting them in there.

phew! i'm exhausted just reading that  suddenly going back to bed seems more fun :rotfl:

    have a good day everyone

    Morning All,

Bright and sunny here today, think I will get out for a while at some point, there is a new Poundland opened up fairly nearby so I want to go for a nosey as its in an old Wollies which was pretty big. Rock and Roll!

Before that I shall be dyeing my hair and putting a washing on, and washing the breakfast dishes.

Hugs to all, have a lovely day.

    Morning All

Bright and sunny here this morning but a bit nippy, so I am in search of washing so that I can get it all on the line to dry before the rain comes in over the weekend.

Molly........ I have a DS going through the same emotional stress because of impending A levels.
(((((((((Hugs))))))))) to your DD and all who are entering the torturous exam weeks.

Not a lot planned for today apart from washing, the house is clean and tidy - so I will probably start reading my library books and have a sort of chill day and definately a NSD day.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Hello everybody :hello:Just a very quick post today. Very bright but cloudy here today. Friday 13th Bug seems to have caused problems at the place which gives me my work so nothing to do (which is just as well as I've a stonking headache)..... so I am going to have a read with some tea and toast. Dinner tonight is mostly already done - the rest of the HM quiche from the other night, pot wedges and peas.....I'm thinking of putting some stuff on ebay again - used to sell a lot but then it went off the boil and I haven't done anything for ages. Is it any better as it did go through a slow phase? Missed the free listings last weekend though  Sourcing floorboard people locally as well...... spag bol on toast for lunch (second half of last night's can)....mmmmmmm :D Right hugs to everyone who needs them and I hope everyone has a nice OS day......I have suddenly got some zeal for spending nothing :rotfl:might have something to do with the IVF cancellation invoice I'm waiting for.......
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D
