Sold an item on eBay, mis-spelt the email to pay to

By that logic, if I walk into Tesco's and give the cashier £1, I can then walk into the corner shop next door and take £1 worth of stuff, because I've "made a payment".
NO, but you go to tesco for your shopping on monday and pay with your debit card/ credit card. the cashier does not say come back for your shopping on wednesday once your money is in our bank account.
once the payment is made per sellers instructions then you are LEGALLY obligated to hand over the goods/deliver the goods (sales of goods act).
paypals only exception is an echeque when they tell you not to post goods until the echeque clears.0 -

Ah, but what if Tesco's didn't take the payment? The buyer still hasn't actually paid anything. Does that entitle them to £1 worth of stuff in the corner shop? Think about it :money:0 -
I have already acknowledged this course of action, and won't be taking it. I have already messaged the buyer on eBay, emailed them, and texted them. I will not be attempting to communicate any more.

simmed has made this whole scenario up.
You don't list your paypal e-mail login on each listing on ebay, it is set up on your account and provides an automatic link to your paypal account. So the same problem would have happened for every sale simmed made on ebay. So your story doesn't add up simmed.
So as I suspected the OP is just attaention seeking, and has made up this whole story to cause a huge argument.
