I've just got back from Morrisons, they were still 64p in there.
We have two main stores in our town, Tesco and Morrisons and they match their prices.
So I looked at them, thought "I use a lot of those, and if they are 99p in Tesco they will be 99p in here soon"
Then acted like a true MSE'er. It'll be a long time before I need to buy Sulatanas, Raisins and mixed fruit again.0 -

No, but next time you need to buy them they will be £3.99 per packet.
It's happening to me regularly now. About 4 years ago I was sure I was going to loose my job, but found I was around £800 above the saving limit to qualify for benefits. So, to lower my saving, I stocked up on a lot of things.
Now I am having to buy, or begin to look round for the best price for, things like soap, soap powder, washing up liquid, and many other cleaning products and tinned food.
I stand and look at the price of those, and things like stewed steak, sardines, and many others and thing "What the h*ll happened to the price of that?"
I used to like a tin of spam now and again, it reminded me of my childhood. But I can't afford it now, I have to settle for something cheaper, like steak or shoulder of lamb!she_who_can_not_cook wrote: »i wonder if they are the same price at morrisons
They were 64p at Morrisons tonight, so if you have one near get there quick before they go up.0 -
After reading this thread last night I popped to morrisons as its just down the road and I use about 5 packs of mixed fruit a week as I cook for a country market, anyway as mentioned the price is still 64p there and they have sultanas, raisins and mixed fruit at this price bought 8 packs will pop back today and get more as I dont like to buy too many at a time.0

Sultanas still 64p in Sainsburys.0

Still 64p in Morrisons.
Be nice to see who increases the price first, or if Tesco back down and reduce their price.0
