All-in-one printer recommendations please!

I have just bought the canon MP495, £35.10 from Amazon, does a good enough job for what i want.

Stick with the Epson inks and printer never had a problem and the T0711 comps do the same job as the originals and have saved me a fortune, good luck with your printer search!!!

Maybe too late to join in on this but avoid at all costs the Kodak ESP 5250 which sells itself on low cost of ink. Generally can be troublesome and cartridges don't last anywhere near as they say plus if one of the cartridges runs out neither of them will work! Read the reviews on Amazon to find out more.

Epson printers are one of the highest cost for inks and if you use compatibles you are asking for trouble, print quality is rubbish with comps. and they cause problems with the machine. Just taken a £200 one to the dump, nothing but problems and I am not a commercial or heavy user.

Avoid Epson if you use compatible inks, they give terrible results and cause problems with the machine. I am not a commercial or heavy user but have had continuous problems with my £200 all-in-one. They wont print black if a colour cartridge runs out. My Epson is going to the dump as it has given up the ghost. Canon for me next, yes more expensive, but you can clean the print head yourself.
