We got 6 quotes and they were the best value out of them.

Have used Select before and all very good but went with now this time and all been very good.

Look for reviews on the above named....
My posts are just my opinions and are not offered as legal advice - though I consider them darn fine opinions none the less.:cool2:

My bad spelling...well I rush type these opinions on my own time, so sorry, but they are free.:o

Instructed Richard earlier today, lots of good feedback on here, and the quote was pretty competitive. I think since posting the thread, I had one PM with a negative, but the positive outweighs all of this.

No pressure Richard, you've now just got a reputation to maintain! I'll try and make as easy as possible for you to get on though :D

Seems I won't get to deal with Richard just yet. EA just called after my £69,500 offer was accepted on Monday. Apparently, someone has came in after and offered more, but they'd probably accepted around £73,000 from me.

From a personal viewpoint, I do not believe the offer exists. Nor do I have plans to get in a bidding war, so I've opted to walk away. Not sure if wise, but either way...

Sorry to hear that. If there's any consolation we found tonnes of decent property in and around Portsmouth atm. :) Though I must point out we're looking at slightly different types of property so I could be very wrong! :D

    Agreed, there's lots out there.

Following on from this, I had to pop into the EA's earlier to collect a passport I'd had someone drop into them for me. EA was very "Maybe go away and think about upping it, and you never know, in two weeks if it's not progressing then the vendor might change their minds"

Got a reply of "Nah, I won't be increasing my offer. Already arranged a viewing on another flat that doesn't have a problem lease."

He didn't look too happy, a sort of "lost the game" face in my view.
