Boden £25 to spend and free delivery for £11

Can anyone remember roughly when the Boden summer sale usually starts? - trying to decide whether to save my voucher?

It's usually the Friday around the 17th July (my friend's birthday so I remember the date roughly). Last year it started at 6pm on the Thursday though. I managed to spend £200 by 5 past 6 (ouch) and everything I bought for myself went back. I was so gutted I made another huge order the week after. I really am an addict. I'm glad I did now though because my youngest has loads of Boden tops for this summer and the other boys have the few odd bits as well. Saves me buying full price now.

The current discount codes (and the free p & p on the LivingSocial voucher) end on something like 24th June, so my guess is that the sale starts the Friday after that date (or a little before as they like to keep us on our toes!).

Can't say I am all that impressed with their stuff this summer, usually I buy dresses 4 at a time to try on in the sale but I don't like any this year. I wanted the leggings and vest that I bought with this offer to see if the quality is as good as the reviews say. If so, I may buy a few more basic bits at sale time but I am not finding this season as good as last year's.

Have you checked your bank account to see how much they've taken? I've just checked mine and still haven't had any money taken by Living Social and now my order's on it's way and I haven't been charged by Boden either! I'm trying to see how much they've both charged me. I bought three vouchers, one was free and got cancelled, then I used the two remaining ones on the same account using the discount code. Basically, I broke every rule!

Boden don't charge until despatch so it might not show on your bank account until Monday if it was despatched at the weekend. Similarly, I don't think LivingSocial started despatching voucher codes until after 3pm on Friday so if yours came out after close of play, that transaction also might not show til Monday. It depends on how quickly your bank updates your onscreen balance as to when you will find out, I think.

Thanks Shoegal - I brought a few bits for the kids in the summer sale last year - was hoping it wasn't next month as baby is due!

Think I will use my voucher to go for a post pregnancy dress and then wait for the sale for kids stuff

What a lovely idea, to have a new Boden frock as a 'new baby' gift to yourself! :j

Hope everything goes smoothly with the birth and that someone can sneak a laptop into the delivery room for you, in case the sale starts early!

I got my order today. I was charged for the two vouchers today and charged the extra over £50 for my order after the 15% discount. Unfortunattely, I didn't get my free scarf despite never having bought anything from them before. I don't know whether to complain about it incase t draws attention to my cheating!;)
