Can anyone think of a way for me to wake up at 6am tomorrow. If i wake up early i can do so much more. I am finding it really hard to get up as i keep having hypos in the night. I will eat for 3 before bed tonight but i am still tired. Any tips?

Yep. All indian people (which i am) use this as a basic one for all curries. Dead cheap and simple can be used for dahls (lentils) and all types of meat.

    1. Put some oil a tablespoon or so into big pan turn on heat on low.
    2. Chop 3 medium onions into small pieces and put them in the pan of oil. Keep stirring.
    3. Add 4 lbs of fresh washed chopped meat (any kind) when onions become clear.
    4. When it starts to brown add 0.5 tea spoon of tumeric, level spoon of salt, 2 skinned tomatoes(chopped up - or a can of chopped tomatoes).
    5. Stir till meat browns and most of the water from the chicken disappears. As meat absorbs the flavour add half a tea spoon of masala should take 5-10 mins for the water to evaporate.
    6. I like my curry watery - nice with rice - so i add 4-5 small glasses of boiling water which should cover the chicken.
    7. Put heat on full power(stir till it starts to boil), then put on a slow heat for 20 mins and put lid on saucepan. check every 10 mins that water hasn't gone completely.
    8. Cook for 1 hour.

    Add rice and hey presto.

hun, you've missed a bit. Where does the water come in? You talk about meat and chicken, and say most of the water from the chicken disappears.

I am sorry Aesop. I hope it get's sorted asap.

Can you cook curries they are dead cheap with rice for OH.

he likes meat and it has to be cooked properly. He can't eat spicy curries, can only have certain curries, doesn't like others, doesn't like plain rice.

it's not easy being in this house!
